There has been 1 roadblock. First episode, someone had to dig up buried treasure.

Still, it's odd there's not been a roadblock since.

True, I forgot that one. But I'm wondering if they've tweaked the race because they have a racer who could be at a huge disadvantage without help from her partner.

Apparently not. Last two episodes have both had roadblocks.

And since Bethany did this last one (not an easy roadblock, I think), there probably isn't a revocation of the Chip & Kim roadblock limit rule.

I do wish there were a few more roadblocks - they give teams more of a chance to catch up rather than the "go here, get a clue, go somewhere else" clues that we seem to have a lot of this season.

But I don't think it can be just about Bethany - as we've seen, she can do most of the physical tasks, and a lot of roadblocks have been mental or just required some patience.

The reason is because of the partner swap and because of Leg 9, which didn't HAVE a Roadblock...
