From the "Meet the Cast" bios, it seems clear that Max & Katie are cast as the villains.

Chuck's Mike Brady perm is a cry for help.

I won't mind watching David & Conor - Yatch!!!! And I'm just guessing here - are Jessica & John the token Christian Virgin dating couple?
