"*SPOILER FOR WEST COAST!* Tonight's show"

OMG, I thought for sure Amy would have gone as it was all her stupid idea lol. But I guess DT gave each of them one chance to screw up (Kat, you already used yours in the real estate episode). Not surprised to see her gone. It's funny to see Amy sooooo shook up in the boardroom. And Nick is definitely playing her!

I have a lot more respect for Bill after this episode, as it was his idea to focus more on VIP guests. Way to go Bill!
Final thought? The opposites bring out the best in people lol (Bill vs Troy)

I loved Protege working in the bus while Versacorp slept.

Kwame had the right idea to give Troy and Bill a lot of latitude. That's what good managers do when they have good people. But since this is a competition, he's really just giving them the chance to outshine him.

I don't think Kwame will make it much further.

But he might probably make it further than next week? As next week's theme is 'romance wilts, and star candidate falling from grace'

who do you think start candidate is? I'm thinking Nick

I'm thinking Nick too. He's the only one who seems to fit into the "You would have been fine if you'd kept your mouth shut" criticism that Donald fires off in the board room next week. I can see him talking for the sake of talking.

We've seen several times now when contestants were told fairly directly that 'Now's a good time to keep your mouth shut, further talking can only hurt you'.

I'm pretty sure Bill, Nick and maybe Troy have been told this by Trump in the boardroom. Then tonight Troy was told this again while negotiating with the kid.

I don't recall either Amy or Kwame having been told this.

If Amy and Nick go to the boardroom again next week, I can easily see Amy not knowing when to shut up and getting herself fired.

Kwame seems too low keyed to do this.

After Amy's comment that Bill, not Nick, was her strongest competition, I fully expect to see Nick bait Amy into cutting her own throat IE. asking leading questions that will cause Amy to talk more than she should and "fall from grace".

Interesting, mavsfan. I found that comment from the kid very out-of-place. It was very ominous, like a warning...

Maybe it's a Bill vs Troy showdown this week.

to me the only person that meets the descripion of Star candidate is Amy. But from the standpoint of TV guide it could be anyone.

I'm gonna jump on the Amy bandwagon too as far TD saying you woulda been fine if you kept your mouth shut. Notice tonight, she started in with the explanations before he'd even finish asking the question. That said, I'm still not sure she's the one who goes next week.

I didn't see any previews for next week but when I think of star candidates, I think of either Amy or Troy. Nick doesn't even come to mind!

There are only five of them left. They're all star candidates at this point. This is typical Burnett preview drivel.

So is "you should have kept your mouth shut." It could be directed at any of them, although you can make a stronger case for Nick, Troy, or Bill than for the other two. But the speculation that Amy might put her foot in it (because of her boardroom inexperience, coupled with her obvious panic in the boardroom in last night's episode), is also interesting. Kwame seems least likely, because he's so close-mouthed.

As for "romance wilts," it's as likely to mean live footage of Nick and Amy doing it on the roof of Trump Tower as anything else.

Insert witticism here.

From last night episode I definately get the idea that the star candidate is Amy. Trump mentioned that both her and katrina both screwed up the same and he kept Katrina because of amy's track record. Amy's track record now has a blemish on it.

I get the opinion from two face shots of Nick. First when Amy said Bill is her competition. Secondly Nick's smerk when he got on the elevator when Amy chose Katrina.

I think Nick and Amy lose next week and nick throws her to the wolves. Amy has repeatedly said she's got control of Nick and Nick has a crush on her. She will find a rude awakening next week. Katrina has said as much - She says Nick is playing Amy.

Much further? He's twelve weeks into a 15 week contest. If he goes much further, he wins.

The weekend car rental raffle was Amy's idea. I wonder why Nick and Katrina didn't make a big deal out of that fact ? It probably wouldn't have mattered though. As DT menotined, Amy has a had a better record overall, so she she's entitled to one screw up. I like the cast of characters that are left though. It should be very interesting.

It's a shame that Amy didn't even admit to her own fault, really shows what kind of person she really is

exactly...i have lost total respect for amy. the ugly side of her was shown tonight. she has been under the radar, or even coming up with great ideas for the past 10 episodes (advertising on rickshaw still the best), but tonight's performance was horrible.

she lied in the boardroom, she tried to copy other's ideas (bill's vips), and she tried to copy the other's idea again (troy and his microphone). she sucked...fine, give her another chance...she'll probably still be in the final though. they do need a women.

That was really a stupid move on her part and Trump should have nailed her on her lie. There are only three freakin people on your team and only two of them went to the car dealership. You mean you can't tell me who had this lousy idea? Is your memeory that poor? You're fired! It's strictly liars poker from here on out.

Amy, "Like, I so can't remember who's lousy idea that was (so lousy that if I own up to it I'll get fired). Girl thinks on her feet. Nick was thinking that she might be weak in the boardroom. Right, she's weak like the smell from my cat's litter box. LOL

lol don't worry. I believe Trump gets to see the shows before he decides who's gonna win in the final episode. He's gotta know whose idea it is (he probably did anyway. since when did Nick and Kat come up with something?)

I don't think the car rental idea was Amy's, or Katrina would DEFINITELY have called her on that in the boardroom. It certainly wasn't Nick's, as he didn't contribute any ideas.

Editing. What we saw was an edit that jumped into Amy saying that they would rent a car for the weekend as a raffle prize, blah, blah. Remember the look on Katrina's and Nick's faces? No look of surprise or shock, etc. Amy was merely reiterating or fleshing out or finalizing an idea that was already on the table.

It was KATRINA that called and started the negotiation. I think the car idea started with KATRINA, which is why KATRINA was so da** silent in the boardroom over this subject. In fact, she did look a bit nervous... We all know that Katrina would not hesitate to blame Amy for anything that she could. Obviously, she could not hang this one on her.

This was a case of editing making Amy out to look bad, like the Jessie and Kristi in the park thingy, which is not a good sign for Amy's future...

OMG! Did you see the look on Amy's face when Trump said she was going back up to the suite. What a gloating beeatch!

"RE: *SPOILER FOR WEST COAST!* Tonight's show"

yeah that makes sense about the whole idea thing. I think the looks on people's faces and stuff though can also be thrown off by editing. ARGGHH... I wish someday we could see what REALLY goes on in the right order.

"Next boot handed to us?"
Posted by Jims02 on 03-25-04 at 11:08 PM
Let's put 2 and 2 together...

Next week we have a quote by Amy, telling Nick to just stay silent for a change.

Then, we have the Donald saying that someone doesn't know when to keep his/her mouth shut.

Are they focusing too much attention on Nick? Yay or nay? It's also beginning to look like Troy is the star player... Amy fell plenty this week.

I believe the car rental was all Amy's idea, as Amy would have rejected anything that came from Kat.

That look on Amy worths watching like thousand times more. She doesn't cope well with stress.

Star player could be Amy, Troy, or Nick. Nick because DT likes him a lot

I knew Amy would be safe. I mean the girl's won 10 challenges in a row! That must count for something. Much has been said about the Nick/Amy "relationship". But what about the Kwame/Troy relationship? ;P

Troy/Kwame: no mini skirt, so it is not mentioned

It's Amy. Read above.

Foreshadowing is the key.

I suspect that the "Fallen Star" for next week refers to the events for this week. Amy has already "fallen". Trump reamed her in the board room and she barely survived getting the ax. Nick will go up to the suite and tell the other guys that Amy is in trouble.

When Amy comes back, she knows she has fallen in Trump's eyes and will set out to redidicate herself starting in this mission. I think everyone is reading too much into it.

remember they told us someone would go home for a giant mistake? well, with that said Amy should have gone home for her car rental idea. but instead it's Katrina and she hasn't screwed up bad this week (I think she screwed up more in real estate episode) So it could mean something. It could mean nothing. But I agree star fall from grace probably refers to Amy this week.
