Big 'Ol Ice Cubes

It was interesting seeing those giant ice planks they had to lug during the Detour. If only we had those things up here during the winter time when we were younger... We could make ice mansions with those things. I was less jealous of their Roadblock task, however, with all those kids and all those balloons. Yeesh, that would have been tough.

Amy & Daniel ended up being eliminated, being a victim of a bad cab driver. Their elimination is really annoying because they were consistently in the front of the pack, but screwed by just one bad taxi. Ugh.

Getting There

Week 2 was a bit of a mixed bag, but certainly better than Week 1 for most players. You can tell already this is going to be an interesting season for the TAR Casino Game, because it seems kinda difficult to nail down who the safe picks are going to be from week to week. James/Jaymes recovered nicely this week, but who knows when they'll randomly implode again?

We had 3 new players join this week, Starshine, Floyd, and beau_30. Welcome aboard!

Unfortunately, we did lose one player this week. Along with Amy & Daniel, Molaholic was a victim of their crappy cabbie. It's always a bummer to see an early exit to the game, so I wanna offer a big THANKS! for playing. And I wanna offer a whole lot of complimentary cocktails in the Casino lounge!

The Greatest Gainer goes to the player each week who jumps up the leaderboard the most number of ranks. For Week 1, this award goes to Georjanna, who climbed 11 ranks all the way to the Top 5. That ain't too bad at all, in my humble opinion.

The Perfect Bet goes to the player who makes the "best" bet each week, as judged by my fancy Excel spreadsheet. This award also goes to Georjanna (2x), who doubled-up (plus rounding) on a sneaky Nadiya/Natalie bet. Nadiya & Natalie weren't an overly popular pick, so big props for picking them out!
