Make a Croc's recycling bin in Macy's.

Guys think the girls were spying on them.
Piers and Vinny stage a fight. Piers sends him out so he can spy on them. The girls hire him but he is still there just to spy on them.

And, it was Omarossa that insisted that he should be hired. OMG! This has got to be the most hilarious episode yet.

Hope your migraine is better. The laughter that should ensue could make it break either way.

ETS: I really hope the guys win this one. Trump's reaction should be priceless.

Wow, no one watches this show, eh?

Omarosa comes up with the same thought as me: make the bin look like a giant Croc!

About the same, so I took something, should kick in in a bit, if not I can take another pill in about 30 minutes.

Vinny gets a chance to send some information back to the guys and.

Stephen Baldwins has...too...much....{ouch it hurts to say this} too much integrity to pick up the paper that Vinny winged at him from down the hall.

I think one of the other guys did pick it up.

I don't get the whole Croc shoe-shaped bin, or the regular square bin with the logo thing. My first thought was a bin in the shape of a crocodile. Let kids, and others, put them in the croc's mouth. If they ever wanted to get extra fancy, the croc could be animated and "eat" the shoes.

Interesting that Baldwin considers the spying to be cheating. He won't accept the info passed on, but does call out another member of the crew to pick it up.

A Baldwin with a conscience integrity? How novel.

Edit for strike. Snidget's word is more a propos.

Vinny decides he doesn't want to be the rat so he is going to flip to the girls. They need a win.

Marilu is Italian as well so understands how he explains the flip.

Ivanka's cool with the sabotage and likes the guys slogan. This surprises Stephen.

She is surprised as the Vinny as a rat thing is something out of Omarosa's play book and she can't believe she fell for it.

And, Piers wants to know why anyone would ever trust someone that came out of the Soprano's. Yet, it hasn't occurred to him that he might be trusting someone that flipped on him.

Meanwhile... Baldwin's a Minister? Who knew?

Vinny tells Donald Jr that he is double crossing the men and wants the women to leave. He hopes their box won't be too complicated to pull off in the time they have.

Vinny says Piers doesn't get he isn't the character he plays on TV.

Trace is worried Vinny is staying over there.

Karma's a woman. Trace thinks she might not be too happy about Piers' machinations.

And, Baldwin tries to get Piers to give his life to Jesus.

Piers is not very happy about being proslytized to. He's a Roman Catholic. Baldwin's "just trying to be nice".

Piers can't help but rub it in that they know about the girls project while Carol is doing the photo shoot.

Who woulda thunk? Piers is an unbelievable a$$, and Baldwin's actually a nice guy. And, Vinnie is going to get strung up by both sides unless Marilou can save him.

With that waistline you have this question?

Piers is an editor for British tabloids. What part of that does not say 'unbelievable a$$' to you?

A prophesy. Vinnie is going to survive, whatever happens. And, he'll get permanently moved to the women's team.

The girls don't want Vinny, Omarosa fired him.
Vinny is pissed off that Piers sold him out.

He is a "man without a country",

He heads back to the "headquarters" from the design shop.

Have to say that I feel for Vinnie. Piers screwed him, and the girls tossed him. I still think he'll survive because he's been a pawn. Kinda poetic, no? That's what happens when the capo's toss you out to take the rap.

I'm starting to have minor doubts about which series I'm watching.

Vinnie is having major ones about which show he's on.

A weird thought... Will Vinnie be the first person called in on both teams?

Good thought MW. Regardless of which team loses, Vinnie is on the chopping block.... LOL

To just about quote an actual job candidate of seasons past, 'This idea is the box!' The women (plus Vinnie. Maybe. At this point, can anyone tell any more?) have won the drop spot war, at least for design. The women have a giant shoe that'll get noticed instantly: Carol's picture is actually spoiling the lines. The men have a box.

This could still come down to the presentations, though. Does Piers have Gene's arrogance in not taking feedback? One way to find out...

I really do like the women's take on things. Almost wish I had a pair of Crocs. DH loves them - and we have OT to thank for that. I'd have liked to, but with a longer middle toe? They're either too small and my toe pokes out, or they're too large and I walk out of them.

The only thing I like better about the guy's campaign is their slogan. Trace should be safe.

I agree. I also like the pics the men have - the kids with the shoes. BUt I like the women's drop shoe better.

Baldwin on the hot seat. Piers, or Vinnie. It's not as easy a question as it might seem. Not even if he didn't really appreciate Piers' deception. I'll be interested in his justification, no matter whom he ends up supporting.

"Vols, wherever you are tonight..."
Posted by Estee on 01-31-08 at 10:48 PM
Oh. The. Drama.

So Vinnie officially thinks he's in a gangster movie, Piers is the morally-uncentered mastermind who would have greatly benefited in life from at least one childhood beating, and behind it all, the mysterious Shadows In The Glass.

We're sure this isn't Lost, right?

*BwaHaHaHA*

Vinny, if Piers wasn't going to be here would you be so quick to resign?

I can see wanting to fire Piers, his decision to play games really messed up the team and two of the three other guys would keep Vinny rather than Piers.

I think Piers has chewed his tongue completely through listening to Vinny and Trump talk.

{zipperhead would for their summary.}

I sat with my jaw dropped most of the show. I really enjoyed this one. I really wanted Vinnie to stay. But I afraid if he did, we would have our first onscreen reality death.

The worst part of this?

As I look to get back into the game of business, for the first time since (maybe) the first year, I think there is something here that I can consider, seriously.

Like Vinnie, my tendncy would have been to fall on my sword and acquiesce to "fate".

Actually seeing the mindset behind the argument for him to stay and fight is somewhat enlightening.

I'm glad I didn't miss this week. Even tho I had to watch on a tiny 15" tv! Good 2 hours.
He had to let him go. The guy is a heart attack waiting to happen and he doesn't need that kind of stress.

"Next week"

Stephen goes into talk to Trump alone.

Sounds like he wants to resign over Piers as well.

At a guess, I think Stephen's going over to the women. The editing is very heavily suggesting that this season could come down to Piers vs. Stephen: at some point, they have to oppose each other. Might as well get the direct portion started early.

Let me just say that I was glad they didn't have to raise money....I'm getting tired of what favors they can call up!!!

"Shorthand."
Posted by Estee on 01-31-08 at 11:12 PM
The women won based on a more complete presentation and The Power Of The Shoe. Vinnie felt he couldn't work with the men as long as Piers was there and offered his resignation from the show. (Voldy, in a very weird touch, tried to tell him to stay on her way out of the Boardroom.) Donald tried to get into the mental motivation for Vinnie's departure and noted both Stephen and Trace preferred him over Vinnie -- making Piers sweat in the process before the possible victim went back to his usual defensive tactic: insult everyone -- but eventually, Vinnie voluntary went home, and HBO sued because someone in the editing department has a sense of humor and they're the only one.

Next week, it looks like Stephen's turn to get fed up.
