don't know if this has been suggested but maybe the teams are divided into two boats to compete as both defenders and attackers. one drake boat defends a drake member on the crate while morgan is trying to kidnapp them and the other drake boat is attacking the morgan crate trying to kidnapp their member. first to kidnapp the other teams member wins??? the battle ofthe boats is the defenders protecting their own's tribe's crate???
