a little filler for any of you losers that actually care what happens next week. Speaking of little fillers, how bout that smallest groom show....my favorite was the girl who was so tiny she was like a midget's midget. And what's up with midgets...would it kill them to at least try and have a nice @ss? Okay, that should be enough filler...

Anyway, if you watched the previews for next week they gave away the ending. First of all, the shot of the family leaving the wedding in disgust is clearly AFTER the ceremony, after Randi and Steve get married. You can tell this from the shot of the production crew telling the brother's that they need to go back down there and "listen to what Randi has to say now" i.e. hint hint she might have some good news for you!

And then you have the shot of Randi reacting to Steve telling her that he is an actor.

My grand prediction....the wedding goes through and then the final happy ending is that they tell Randi that since Steve is an actor she gets the entire million dollars instead of having to split it.

You mean this isn't a REAL wedding??

"Actually they are not midgets"
Posted by Katiepops on 02-17-04 at 01:29 PM

They are dwarfs. Midgets look like children. Their bodies are proportioned evenly and look like 4 year olds.
A dwarf has a normal head and body and short squat legs, arms and features. Dwarves are taller..usually in the 4 ft category while midgets never reach 4 ft.
Just FYI
I don't know what is gonna happen on Obnoxious but Steve was on Good Day Live yesterday and said Randi is not talking to him at all, that she is mad and had "resigned" (read fired) from her teaching job.
So either she resigned coz she was so rich or the tabloids are right about the school and parents being furious with her for doing the show.
Stay tuned and I guess we will find out.

I'd like to know why she's not talking to Steve. I don't see any reason why she could be mad at him. He was only doing what she was doing. Unless...

Your'e right - that was pretty easy to predict - I agree the family objects but they still give Randi the $$ because they tell her Steve is an actor. On another note - judging about your classy comment about midgets at least having nice a$$es I guess you watch My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance to get tips/ideas from Steve? Remember - he's an ACTOR - he's not really an a$$hole - what's your excuse?

And you obviously haven't been around very long if you even have to ask me that question. Here's a long lasting SB tip.....read more, post less.

Mmmmmm, let's see... you're about a size medium? Here's your flame-retardant suit & helmet, and welcome to Reality TV World!

For the rest of you, snacks are to your left and coffee & pop are to the right.

Psst, much of what shakes says is tongue-in-cheek, but if you look through all the stuff being said, he's always pulverizing the nail on the head.

speaking of little people. I have only seen one midget in real life in the past 5 or so years (yes, I have been counting). They must have all moved to Hollywood, because TV and movies are just filled with midgets.

Re littlest groom: i guess the show wasn't odd enough, they had to add three 'tall' women to the mix. WTF? How desperate to get on TV do these 'tall' women have to be?

imho, I think the wedding DOESN'T go through. Not all the way at least (it's not suppposed to). No one objects, but part way through (before the actual vows), they tell her that he's an actor. There was a clip of her standing there, NOT looking upset, smiling and all ready to do the wedding and all of a sudden she gets this Joe Schmo "WTF" look and says "WHAT?" THAT is what upsets the family and prompts the "go listen to what she has to say" thing. I could have sworn I heard a soundbite of Papa Bear saying something like "there are some things you just don't do for money." I think she'll get the money, but she and her family will be royally p.o.'ed about the entire thing.

Some people just can't take a joke (tee hee).

or, instead of telling them he's an actor, a producer comes out with terrible news (still ala Joe Schmo) and tells them...he's already married!

See, I would. Just depends on her personality. I think Steve is hilarious, in and out of character.

...under that same logic David Arquette shoold divorce Courtney Cox for being married to Matthew Perry on Friends. Or an even better comparison, the guy married to the girl who plays Phoebe should get rid of her cause she got married on Friends this year.

Are you seriously too dumb to realize that the guy is an actor and this was a paying gig on a prime time tv show????? I guarantee his wife was doing backflips of joy when he got the job. Given his previous resume, it sounds like Baily family would've been lucky to afford Hungryman froze dinners before this showed up on his doorstep.

Ya, it really hurt the actor who played the Puck-like character on The Joe Schmo Show -- all he did was land a major role on a UPN sitcom about two months later.

Steve should hope he becomes just as hated.

"the hutch" was on the mullets. The grits were on the gridle. The puck-like character was "Kip".

no the hutch was suposed to be like the puck from real world 3 kip was the gay guy from real world 3.

sorry, I'm not a realword watcher. I thought the puck-like reference was to the semi-famous Chef (Puck something or other). Whom (to me) looks the "kip" character. That being the case, it is my understanding that 'the hutch' scored his gig on the mullets after Joe Schmoe was filmed, but before it aired.

if you watched survivor 1 puck and hutch is most like greg, puck was an a-hole kicked out by the other real world people. joe schmo was filmed in july for oct relase the mullets was filmed before for sept relase

I agree with Webby.
And any primetime job is a good one for an actor.

I think this show should help Steve in his career. It is much harder to work without a script and be convincing. He had to stay in character while reacting to unknown situations. He was able to carry the show and guide the story, and Randi never knew.

There is a big difference between an unknown trying to take 15 minutes of attention and turn it into an acting career, and an actor playing a role on a Realty show.

I read an article that stated she and her family are still at odds over this and it caused a lot of friction, to an extent it was a wrong thing to do but I would have done it also, a million is a lot of money!!!

"RE: My grand prediction"

Yes, a million dollars IS alot of money, but neither she nor her family appear to be financially struggling. I'm certainly no millionaire, but I'm comfortable enough and in my opinion, putting your family through that would not be worth it. It's not like the money would be life changing to them.

I can hear daddy now... "Princess, if you needed a million dollars, why didn't you just ask for it?"

I do believe that I've read somewhere that she thought it would be a funny joke and didn't think it would tear apart her family the way it did. I'm sure that's true, but then she didn't pay much attention when her mommy was choking her with those apron strings.

I swear that girls family needs to have those sticks surgically removed...must be hard to sit...specially after eating pumpkin pie.

They're all too uptight....way too uptight. <---stating the obvious because it's early and i wanted to.

Ballerina, that's easy for you to say. You don't have a daughter about to marry a guy like Steve. Remember, they think this is for real!

Wouldn't it be great if they started the wedding music with Billy Joel's "Only The Good Die Young" (Catholic girls start much too late...)

the family should be pissed at the producers for putting out that crap and sueing fox for makeing them look like fools. not the daughter who wanted to be a media whore.

Since this is the unofficial Littlest Groom comment repository: Whom among us was not heartbroken that our Hero didn't pick Zora, or was it Xena?, whatever her name was. Seriously, didn't she looked relivied? Somehow I don't think the happy couple is going to be making the talk show circuit. Didn't the last two women standing look like the could have been sisters, the winner could have been Zora's mini-me.

wait, wasn't Zora the girl from Joe Millionaire??

yes, Zora was Joe Millionaire's 'Bride'. Now that I think about it, all three of the them look like sisters.

That blew me away when Steve started his whole "it's all about a family that loves each other" speech!! HAHAHA! Right, that's what I was thinking..."See how much her brother loves her? He loves her so much that he's drinking at 10:00 a.m. and insisting he will not support her or attend her wedding. Awww...." and "I wish I had a mother who was so supportive of my decisions that she would promise to take the claws out and drag me home with her if she didn't like him."

I'm not saying I wouldn't be as upset as they were, but to spin it like "this because a show all about how a family's love holds it together" was a total farce. It was all about making Randi and her family squirm. But they had to say SOMETHING to prevent a tragic bagpipe bludgeoning.
