I keep hijacking Webby's thresds for the sake of art!!! Sheesh! So, to repost...

I just relisted all of my artwork under the Auction for America section at ebay! Just do a search for my seller name, "BlossomArt" to see them all - it's all going for the relief effort, gang, every penny! PLEASE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW! Your co-workers, friends, family, Jerri Manthey (wouldn't I just s.hit twice and go blind if SHE bought my artwork????), the crazy pop-eyed lady from "Love Cruise"...

Aaaaand...I thank you!

I especially like the Mardi Gras one with the blue/green/purple/yellow mixes... Just have to find a way to pay online without a credit card (since I haven't used one in 6 years by choice)...
well hey, muggers aren't going to touch a skunk who hasn't been in the bathtub, are they?

Pepe!!! Geeze, thanks! I didn't even notice I'd hit the 2000 mark! And my GAWD!!! You might want to bid on Mardi Gras? Budddddy, thank you!!! Sorry about the Billpoint - for the purposes of Auction for America, it's the only way ebay can make sure everyone selling stuff is going to be honest, and not just try to profit from the tragedy by saying "Oh, yeah, yeah, sure, I'm sending it to charity". It's a pretty good idea, too! Those of us on an art email group I belong to were trying to figure out how to ensure an honest transaction just one day before ebay came up with this. Our idea initially was to have the buyer make the check out directly to the Red Cross, buyer sends the seller the check, the seller sends the check to the Red Cross and the item to the buyer - but this takes all the guess work and trouble out of it. So this way, when the auction ends, ebay notifies me to send my painting to this person, and the person pays ebay directly instead of me.

Now, normally, I only accept check or money orders for my regular auctions, because, frankly, I don't understand how Billpoint works! But for these auctions, I guess just follow ebay's instructions for Billpoint and you should be fine if you decide to bid and you win the high bid! And even though it says in the auction description that I only ship to the U.S., I would certainly make an exception for you! If ebay hassled you about it, I'd see if I could waive that, which I probably could. That was my bad - for my regular auctions, I normally DO only ship to US, since I shipped a couple of times internationally and it was a real hassle. But I should start making exceptions so I can ship to Canada. If you bid an if you win, I'm almost certain it wouldn't be a problem, since it's for charity especially!

Vampers - hee hee!!! I was waitin' for SOMEONE to give me props on that! LOL!!!

Pepe babe - was that YOU who placed the bid on "Mardi Gras"? If it's not, you have competition, 'cos there's a bid on it now!

Thank you, dabs buddy. I've got a couple of new paintings on auction, and hopefully a couple more later this week. I've got quite alot of bids which is very heartening - both for my ego (LOL!!!) and for the fact that since it's for charity, it really makes me feel good!

Now you're really getting the hang of it, NightScribe! Bumping is a good way to build up the DAWs (and this IS for a good cause).
