"NEW BlowsVivor Spoilers!!!!"

Posted by HawkEye on 06-16-01 at 03:24 PM
The Evil Dictator has blown it this time. I have recently uncovered a secret correspondence for the Ayatollah himself. It appears that the writers (yes I said WRITERS) of BlowsVivor have been given strict orders to produce out not less than 2 episodes a week. Which would put the final Blowsvivor episode toward the end of July instead of the August/September timeframe many have been anticipating. Some of the writers have been balking at this and it will be interesting to see whether the iron fist of the dictator can carry the day on this aggressive schedule.

I also have a source close to the E3 production team (ok it's my uncle's crazy half-brother on my step-mom's side) that tells me that the catfight that ensues in E3 will result in the eventual eviction of one of the CAT'S!!!! Furthermore the source has confirmed that the writer of E3 has close ties to a certain out front member of the AA tribe and the cat fight is likely to be between her and the AA's dangerous kitty. Which in my book means DANGERKITTY is the next one outta there!!!

No comment, hawk, except that might have been a believable spoiler if your source had any credibility whatsoever.
My advice, from now on, stick with the tried-and-true
SECRET SOURCE, if you want my recipe for success.

Edited to restore htt to http so sig pic would appear. Duh!

Very interesting....but....WRONG!!!!

Nice try, "newbie", but I think it is just the birds natural fear and envy of the feline species that is muddling your thoughts. Seeya in Ep 4...

I count just as many cats after the episode as before...

Did I misread your prediction HawkEye?

Please clarify...

Very sad, isn't it, when people fall for red herrings so easily? . . . (and boy, there were a bunch of them! Shakes Burn-it would be proud!)

Do you suppose the old-timer behind Hawkeye will reappear with another personality to "spoil" Ep. 4? Seems like this one's outlived his credibility. . .

Perhaps, OFG. . . or else this is another entry by the same person who brought us ShakesvivorBlows? (Gotta love the way he/she tosses in those impersonations!)

The real Ayatollah Khomeini ordered unarmed human waves to charge Iraqi guns during the Iran-Iraq war. I'm not willing to incur casualties so cavalierly. I surrender! If the writers need a week, they may take it...

"Preview in Hindsight"

Just a note for us spoilers--
Hawkeye fell for one of the oldest Mark Burnett tricks in preview spoiling:

"I also have a source close to the E3 production team (ok it's my uncle's crazy half-brother on my step-mom's side) that tells me that the catfight that ensues in E3 will result in the eventual eviction of one of the CAT'S!!!!"

See how he assumes there will be a catfight? The preview only asked the question "Will a Catfight ensue?" The correct answer was "No."

Because of the word Catfight, the teaser that "fur will nearly fly" and because two women were announced to have boundary issues, Hawkeye presumes two women will fight, and one will be a feline, but those two teasers referred to completely unrelated events.

1) Vamps and MC (women, but not felines) had boundary issues, and they did not get into an all-out fight.

2) "Fur nearly flies" referred to Ice Cat's near escape on the chopper. "Nearly" was the clue the Ice Cat was not going to make it out of the show this time.

Never assume, Hawkeye! And keep those sharp eyes focused on the exact wording. Awww. (Hopes Hawkeye will learn from maiden flight and swoop down with more precision next time.) Hey, Hawk, keep your talons off that bunny or Sir Erist will lance you!

"One good tip here!"

Yep, the evil dictator (that means me) did indeed try to get this done by the end of July ... but, as HawkEye accurately predicted, he failed. In fact, there was an entire month in which only two episodes (E9 and E10) were produced, as each took two weeks... so BV ended up running from the Memorial Day weekend to the week before Labor Day. Ah well, the best laid plans and all that...

Just in defense of OFG and myself:

The original slated writer for episode 9 dropped out and so OFG picked up the ball and did double duty.

And I delayed episode 10 because the original slated writer of episode 11 dropped out at the last minute, so I spent additional time working on the episode while waiting to find out who would write the next one.

And I have to say, I very much enjoyed the whole series, it was a marvelous collaborative effort.

...but what fun is that? Nope, I'm going to sit here and say in retrospect that your episodes took so long because your mothers never hugged you enough when you were babies (Linda, you may be gone from Africa, but you're not forgotten!).
