Sales tasks are usually some of my favorite ones on The Amazing Race. Usually, the most interaction the racers ever get is shouting directions at people. But, in these tasks, the racers actually have to try to connect with the culture... Or at least enough to sell a few sunglasses.
Andie & Jenna were eliminated this week because their taxi sucked. That's The Amazing Race for ya.
Week 2 Results
1st place - Brook/Claire (2x)
2nd place - Katie/Rachel (1.7x)
3rd place - Michael/Kevin (1.5x)
4th place - Chad/Stephanie (1.3x)
5th place - Jill/Thomas (1.1x)
6th place - Connor/Jonathan (.9x)

Overall, scores were fair. Nat/Kat was an extremely popular bet, so their 7th place finish was disappointing for some. Although, if you were like me, you were probably hollering like crazy as they started slowly climbing through the ranks from last place. Only TAR Casino Game players would hoot and holler about that kind of thing.
Brook/Claire and Katie/Rachel were sneaky good bets by a few players, who cashed in big-time.
The Greatest Gainer Award
For the second week in a row, Yogi wins the Perfect Bet Award with a nice Brook/Claire and Katie/Rachel split. Will he go for the hat trick? We shall see! Very impressive start for the reigning champ.
