"Problem with IE v.7 just this weekend!!!"

Hi! If anyone has an idea what's causing this, I'd really appreciate your help! As I LOVE to do, I came to the pages Sat night and today (Sun 10/19) and as soon as I started to view a thread, I would get "kicked out" of the page and get a Dell/Google search page. Finally I decided it was a glitch and gave up. Today, after seeming to work for a minute, I started getting kicked out again. And I am missing my message boards !!!! I got on successfully using Mozilla Firefox just now.

I have made not changes to my computer since Thursday (10/16) when my IE was working just fine! and I regularly delete my intermediate files/cookies using my internet options/tool menu.

Is there a problem with the site? is it my problem?

Thanks so much!

I had a problem for a few hours this afternoon (Sunday) that it would time out and not open the page at all. I use firefox, so that wasn't an IE7 only thing.

Now I couldn't get to anything in the site, so I couldn't try to open a thread because I couldn't even get the list of fora or the list of thread pages.

Wow Snidget, thanks for letting me know. For myself, I could see the page load at least, but when I tried to open any links, even Bebo's direct link to email for help, I got kicked out then.

Does this info help any of the moderators?

Thanks!

So bizarre!!!

Went I went offline tonight, I ran all my Norton and other vendor clean up type of programs, including Express Norton Clean up which supposedly clears off cookies and temp files. Who knows what program did it, but just to see, I came back online in IE and it's working now . . . ! So maybe just a random cookie was causing the problem? If anyone else is having a problem this weekend let us know Otherwise, I hope my IE keeps on working 'cause I love my Amazing Race and Survivor buddies!!!! And not being able to "connect" was triggering withdrawal pains!

Thanks!
