Just wanted to bump this up after all the work Bebo has been doing to keep those who are posting duplicate topics this morning.

Thanks, y'all. I know I'm coming across as a major hardass, but there's a method to my madness.

Folks complain that they're too busy to look through all of the threads to see if something's out there already. When we don't put a lid on duplicate posts, it's much, much worse. That's just more posts that people don't have time to read. As a results, there are loads of threads that no one's reading, and repetition instead of discussion.

Those of us who have been around awhile enjoy the discussions, the give-and-take that can take place on the threads. When all the duplicate threads starting popping up, that got lost. And it's no surprise why.

Y'all can tell by my DAW count (that's Desperate Attention Postings, FYI) that I've been posting here for awhile. The reason I've stayed so long is because I enjoyed discussing shows, not just posting my opinion for no one else to read. That's what the intent of the Guidelines is.

So hate me if you want, call me names in your head (not on the forums, though, since you could get banned for that ), but understand I'm not just doing this to be a butthead.

There are loads of other things I do to be a butthead that aren't nearly as productive.

We really do have guidelines here. Believe it or not, the Guidelines make things more fun. Really.

Point taken. If I'm nice to you Bebo can I get a really cool DAW Level name too?

Again, I have to say thank you. It's getting ridiculous. Most people do not read threads after it reaches the second page and with all these duplicate threads, too many good threads end up with no responses on the second and third page. So as a long time poster, please, follow Bebo's advice and read the guidelines and the other threads before posting.

I said I was done with this forum but after seeing the love passed along to my favorite mod, had to stop back in and say glad to see all the others who appreciate some sense of control stepping up as well.

This is a great board becuase of the posters who bring the discussions and the moderators who keep the discussions organized.
