Calling all summary writers for another season of Survivor.

Here are the rules:

*NEW* Anyone can write a summary. If you've always wanted to, now is the time!

*Summaries should be posted in the Bashers forum within three days of the episode's airdate, and the sooner, the better.

*The final episode actually counts as two summary slots. Traditionally, the Finale summarizer gets the slightly over two hours right through the announcement of the winner, and the Reunion writer takes everything after that through the closing credits. Take it all, split it up or co-write.

*The Recap episode, should we get one, is generally not summarized. However, if you want it, say so. You probably won't have much opposition.

*Should we get more applicants than the number of summary slots; the writers will be determined by random draw.

*At any time the BluePeeps may declare and render this thread invalid.

I'd like to do one around the merge but if we have a problem filling out the early slots I can do any of them. Put me up on that calendar somewhere and I'll be there.

Hey kircon,

I'll kick it off and volunteer to do tonight's episode (unless you wanted to.) I've done several Summaries before so I know the drill.

20 castaways in one hour???!!! YIKES! If there was ever a season to bring back the two-hour premier this would be one of them. Always a tough challenge to do the first but I'll be up to the task and give it my best shot.

If Ep. 1 is accounted for you can put me anywhere other than Nov 19th (I'll be out of the country.)

I really didn't want to do tonights because I just did SOTS & PTTE for Survivor & BB. But I did get to know them because of the SOTS.

I'll do one. I can do two, but only if one is pre-merge and one is post-merge so they are spread out.

I agree with Estee. It is time to see what the new kids can do. There's probably a lot of untapped snark out there.

I see nobody has offered to do Episode 2 yet. I'm all for giving new writers a chance and would gladly let everyone else get a shot ... but if you need someone immediately for this Thursday's episode, I can do it.

I'll do ep 3 if no one else signs up. Haven't done one of these in a long while, the Gilligan's Island show kinda wore me out and I never got around to doing the dumbdumb finale, so I don't really deserve a slot or anything, I should be banned, I dropped the ball, I really did. But I'll step up and do it if no one else volunteers. But you really shouldn't trust me, you should vote me out now.

I don't mind stepping aside if someone else wants to do it. If not, I promise to not do it as a Cheers or Bewitched episode. Brady Bunch or Knight Rider or A-Team, no promises, I'll do what I like. Mission: Impossible or Gunsmoke maybe.

Does anyone remember The Invaders?

Nov 26 - Ep 11 - not sure if it's a recap

Dec 10 - Ep 13 - michel

Dec 17 - Ep 14

Final Dec 20 I'll do this if no one wants it.

I have to show up for jury duty this week; I'll volunteer to do it in a pinch if need be. But it'll be another quickie, maybe even more of a quickie, not my best work.
