SHOUTOUTS

I have 4 Shoutouts this week. The first two go to Ontheroadagain and alwaysintruble1 for both being the first two players this season to get an answer right-on (besides if #4 was zero). They both answered #3 right with 14. Congrats, you two.

Next up is Higgs, who I would like to congratulate on cracking the 100-point mark. This season is going great, we're only a few weeks in and we've already got a few others getting close, too

But perhaps the most impressive performance of all this week came from DearAbby, who scored 84 points, which is absolutely phenomenal. She scored at least a point on every single question, and answered all the C-Questions correctly while using Superbonuses, meaning +36 from those questions alone. Well done!

Now, we do have one person with two sticks, and several other people that are very close. If you want to trade in a stick or sticks, you must say so in your post. I'm not psychic, I don't know whether or not you intend to trade it in, or to save it for the end of the game or whatnot.

Some of you may know that I see Terry as a Tom Westman 2.0...and that I didn't like Tom Westman to begin with. So that raises the question...why would I ever choose Terry to be the Star of the show?

Well, going along the normal lines of thinking for this show doesn't seem to work...pick someone that was UTR in the most recent episode, and then they pop-up like they're a Whack-A-Mole or something the next week. So, I've decided to reverse my thinking, in the hopes that perhaps someone that's relatively prominent one week will lay low the next, making this week in the PQM...

PQM OPPOSITE WEEK

So the bonus is obviously going to be the opposite of what it normally would be. Since so many of you have earned yourself tokens, skulls, and sticks, I'm going to take some away from you. Therefore, this IS NOT A BONUS unless you're willing to lose a token/skull/stick and just not bother with this at all

You can wager a Token, Skull, or Stick. If you don't post your choice, the default wager is a Skull.

Depending on what you wager, different outcomes will occur.

- If you wager a Token, you must get a score of at least 40 to keep that token. If you don't, I take it. If you do, I'll tack on another +15 points to your score.

- If you wager a Skull, you must get a score of at least 15 to keep the skull. If you don't, I take it. If you do, you don't get any extra points.

- If you wager a Stick, you must get a score of at least 25 to keep that Stick. If you don't, I take it. If you do, I'll tack on another +10 points to your score.

So it's all up to you Also, be sure that you have enough of whatever you're wagering to actually wager it...if you have no skulls, you can't wager one.

Another example would be if you had 1 Token...if you wager that token, you can't buy Superbonuses to help you out, nor a Steal-A-Point, etc. So be careful not to make a boo-boo or I'll just have to put you at the default Skull wager.

Of course, I can't just hang you out to dry like that, so therefore there will be an actual bonus this week, and that is the:

TERRY "CHATTY KATHY" BONUS

List the order in which Terry will speak to each of his tribemates. For each person you have in the correct spot, you get +5 points. Get them all right, and you earn yourself a token (no bonus points for your weekly score, however).

My token/skull/stick amounts have the same problem as vince3's. I scored 62 (15 from the bonus) but the smounts are still the same as last week.

Das I’ve read and re-read the week one rules about 3 or 4 times and I'm still extremely confused. If anyone out there could give me an idiot-proof explanation of how sticks, tokens, and skulls are earned and what they are used for, it would be appreciated!

Yeah, I probably wouldn't get it either if I hadn't come up with it myself

Tokens can be used to make purchases at the PQM Store.
Skulls are combined to make Sticks.
Sticks can be traded in for Tokens.

At the end, if you have Tokens, Skulls, or Sticks left over that were not used/traded in/etc., you can trade them in for extra points, as follows:

1 Stick = 20 Points
1 Skull = 15 Points
1 Token = 10 Points

One Stick can be traded in at the PQM Store for one token at any time. However, if you hold out and wait until you have two Sticks, you can trade them in at the same time (for two tokens), and you will get a bonus Skull for being so well-disciplined

That's pretty much it. If there's anything else I forgot, please let me know and I'd be happy to help you out
