Well, its all over folks. We've been bashing and rehashing for a while now and I still don't know if you loved it or hated it. Tell me.

Rules:
In the subject line, put one of these:
Loved It
Liked It
Maybe If The Only Thing On TV Was A Rerun of Showgirls
Only In It For The Money
Hated It

Then tell me why. Since there are only four of us still hanging around, it shouldn't take me long to tally the votes.

When all has been said and done... I liked this show.

Loved the plot...I like quirky stuff that keeps me guessing.
Loved some...Jim, Grace, Jameson, Shaddrack
Hated some....Mary, Sloman

CSI I can pick up in reruns and I haven't missed anything. There is something to be said for serial tv when you actually feel like you are missing something by missing the show.

One day I hope I will see the entire series.

I liked the show, but then again I also liked Twin Peaks when it aired. It got kind of slow during the middle 3 episodes, but by then I hung on for a chance at the money. I took pages of copious notes, printed out maps and information off too many web sites, and way overanalyzed everything. The solution, once figured out, was really quite simple. I spent too much time overanalyzing everything and making it too hard. Next time I'll remember that shows are broadcast to the lowest common denominator. Great idea about getting the viewers involved with solving the mystery. However, I felt the Ultimate Solve had more to do with cracking codes than solving the mystery. Maybe they can do that next time.

Although I do think the first couple episodes were too artsy and confusing, turning people away from it.

Probably my favorite Episode was the one where Jim was analysing Shadrack's sculpture. I enjoy symbolism, so it gave my brain a little exercise.

I also enjoyed the mysteries throughout the series: (most of which has answers on this site)

1. Who sent Jim the fax? This was one of the most puzzling aspects of the show, and it was fun to make guesses.

2. What's up with Jim's father? They kept showing those "Red Trunk" scenes, which made me wonder about it. I knew it had something to do with Push, but I didn't know. Then, we see the Betsy (hotel owner?) with Al Prufrock's hanky.

3. The Off-Limits Area? The funny thing is that for awhile I actually thought that the control room was back there for the whole operation. Would have been great had Jim entered it.

4. The Bible? I knew it was worth something, but how? We finally got a glance at the inside, whick opened up the mystery further.

5. Watermark's "Opposition"? That weird symbol that Grace helped Jim discover. I don't think I ever did find out what that was about. Probably something they would wrap up in the final episodes.

The only thing that kept me from "Loving It" was that it didn't tie up the good story enough. I had to find the answers for #1-4 online.

Think about it. How would you all feel if you watched Mole 2 all season, and then never found out who the Mole is and what HE actually did? That would be pretty crummy.

Quotes of the week
1. "You will NOT see my ta-ta's" -Shii Ann

2. "Do they think I'm too controlling?" -Helen (um, yeah)
3. "My two year old (had a tantrum) one time and I whupped its @$$ and put it back to bed." -Clay
4. "I'm putting in an order for a bigger butt in my next life." -Jan (randomly)

It was good, but the ending left me wanting some more. And I was never really convinved Jim had any feelings for Mary.

-Story was OK
-Interactive elements were fantastic

Story was getting better towards the end. Wished ABC would've let it play out.

It's the type of show (or movie) I enjoy watching -- right along the lines of Twin Peaks, which I still think was a very underrated show, even if it was kooky.

It was a very good concept in the first place, but could have used a little work with the flow of the show. I think it could really have worked with some better writing, but overall, I liked it.

being one of the 4 folks that watched each show, I enjoyed the story and most of the cast. Could'a done with a little less homework however.

Would love to see more corky tv/game shows like this.

I still have my web pages up and running, however if I knew that Push Times was going to disappear, I might have captured some of the articles. I did manage to save a couple of maps, the fax, and some images. I tried to buy the book, but it wasn't published. I do have the PDF version which is 8 MB and explains much more of the story.

I saved an episode by episode guide with the clues and the solve.

The Derek Cecil MP files are gone from the ABC site and I never saw them.

Meanwhile I saved every show SP on VHS, then copied them without commercials to one tape. Too bad, because some of the commercials had little tid-bits that related to Push. Pretty funny.

I agree that the plot was more interesting to me as it was heating up in Push. ;) I didn't even try to solve the puzzle, even with all the clues, because I was out watching football. In other words, the show and the mystery attracted me more than any prize or contest did.

So I loved it and wish I could find The Mystery of Push on DVD, there may be some lost materials, or they never did the production at all for the missing episodes. I would think there are parts left that we never saw. For example, location shots that had to be done in advance, which were never used.
