Anyone know if there is actually going to be a contender 2 or just the fight on the 30th? When you look on the tv schedule for espn for 10/15, it says "boxing" as the name of the program and the names of the fighters. No mention of the contender at all.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "30th", though the card was originally supposed to be scheduled for then, then again, there was also "originally" supposed to be fights scheduled for July 5th, then July 30th, then the "end of August", however the fight is on for October 15th at the Staples Center, tix are on sale. As for no mention of The Contender, what I can say is that the fight is being promoted on the ESPN wbesite:

As for The Contender 2, they are holding open interviews for applicants in all weight divisions in different cities around the USA for the 2nd season.
