goes to the player who makes the best overall wager for the week. This week, it's a three-way tie between esquire, Starshine, and ARNutz, who each doubled their scores. Way to go!Smashy Smashy!
That Roadblock was interesting to say the least. Usually, on The Amazing Race, teams are rewarded if they stay meticulous and detail-oriented. But not this week. Clearly, this Roadblock showed that a little aggression can work wonders. And a hammer helps too.
Just don't try it at home. My VCR will never be the same.

Good week for scoring. Very few people managed to score negative for the week, and a bunch of people doubled their scores. We also had a few new players join the game. Welcome to Silver03, dragonflies, chiubakka, and 5cats to the game.
The Perfect Bet Award
The Greatest Gainer Award goes to the player who moves up the most ranks in a single week. This week's winner is CTgirl, who managed to climb 23 ranks to #14 overall. Other big movers were esquire (19 ranks), taffnic (18 ranks), and Wallflower66 (16 ranks). Awesome.

Through this week and next, the TAR Casino Game is still open to new entrants. Check out last week's post for the full rules. The only change to this week is that new players will start with 10 points.
This season, I have left the Payout Table construction to the winner of the weekly bonus game. The correct answer to the bonus was 44 minutes. The closest guess came from our very own FFantasyFX, with a guess of 47 minutes. Therefore, FFantasyFX is Pitboss of the Week and gets to choose the Payout Table.
Here is the Payout Table that FFantasyFX has chosen. It is appropriately named (by its author) the Heaven, Purgatory, Hell Payout table (aka Dante Alighieri Table).

1st place - 2x
2nd place - 1.9x
3rd place - 1.8x
4th place - 1.1x
5th place - Break even
6th place - .9x
7th place - .2x
8th place - .1x
9th place - 0x
(Yes, we've gone with the "scary tables" early this year. Hey, don't blame me.) 
Make sure that none of your individual wagers exceed 30 points. If you have more than 30 right now, you'll have to spread around your bets a little if you want to wager everything.

30 points - Lance/Keri Bonus Guess - 64 hours, 12 minutes (yes, the Globetrotters are that good) This post is a guide for the person who wins the Bonus Game this week. Think of it as a weekly reference guide. The rules will change throughout the season as the game gets a little looser. After the new episode airs, I'll post the correct answer in this thread, identify the winner, and send a private message to that individual. The winner has until the following Tuesday night (midnight) to contact me with their Payout Table for the following week. They can either post it in this thread or send me a private message if they want to be secretive. If the winner doesn't contact me with their Payout Table by Tuesday night, I will create the next Payout Table instead. (These may change throughout the season when we get farther into the game.) 1. Your Table must have a ranking for all the potential rankings of the teams. Use the format that I use. 1st place - (This is assuming they eliminate a team on Sunday. If they don't, add 9th place on there.) 2. 1st place must be 2x and last place must be 0x. 3. The payout multipliers must decrease as you go down the rankings list. Therefore, you can't do something like... 1st place - 2x That would be pretty mean if you did do that anyway. We'll save that scenario for potentially later in the season. 4. The sum of the multipliers must equal the number of rankings. If there's 8 teams left next week, the multipliers have to add up to 8. If there's still 9, they have to add to 9. 1st place - 2x 2 + 1.7 + 1.4 + 1.1 + .9 + .6 + .3 + 0 = 8 Think of it as the good payouts balancing out the bad payouts. 5. No negative multiplier numbers. Man, why would you do that to a person? 6. Round each decimal to the tenths-point. No 1.24235245x payouts. 1.2x will do just fine, thank you. If you follow these rules, your Payout Table will be accepted. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! 42 min. Good wager. 20 Sam/Dan Bonus: 44 minutes EP: Edited the points/teams

The spread between FlightTime/BigEasy and Lance/Keri was 39 minutes, so louislam was closest with a guess of 40 minutes.
