I think they avoid one obvious option, which would be to boink the escort. Presumably he paid, so that should be an option to be considered.

An addition option that should be considered (and condemned, of course, we would never really do this, would we?) if the decision to boink is made, is whether or not to hold it over her head after she marries the son. For the occasional side boink (he’s 70+, and he may feel that he won’t have that many more boinking occasions left, and that he needs to take advantage whenever he can)?
