I can't stand the mere idea of her fronting for SuperNova.
Here's why ...

SuperNova SUCKS!!!!

Dilana deserves so much better than this SuperEgo flunkie band.

If that first number was a highlight of their supposed musical talents all "miraculously pulled together", count me as one who doesn't give a flyin' flip.

On a slightly related point...
Kudos to Zayra for getting kicked off. This one move will allow for her to do her own thing, at which she will be very good at. I'll even by her first CD.
Now if only Dilana could do the same.
So "help me" "help Dilana" by not voting for her.
Save her from having to spend even one year attached to the absolute suckatude that is, SuperNoNo. I mean SuperNever. I mean ... aww you get the point.

I'll support your bandwagon. That song absolutely sucked. Could not have been a more generic 80's rock song if they had tried. And not a good 80's rock song.

I never did vote for her. I'm not going to start now.

I'm not ready to write the band off just yet. The lyrics were terrible. The film was terrible. The dancing girls were terrible. The sound mix was terrible. That doesn't mean they will always sound terrible. Just this particular performance wasn't good. I'm real curious to hear what they will sound like with a singer. oops, I mean a different singer.

ETA: If you're a Dilana fan and you think you're doing her a favor by not voting for her you might want to rethink.

I Agree, that song was awful. The entire time I was just waiting for it to end thinking that I could never listen to an hour of this carp on a CD, let alone last through an entire concert

I love that guy from the houseband. Maybe I should go check his blog right now! (er...if he has one that is...) LOL.. Yes, if they are going for tired and dated, our buddy from the houseband would tell them that!

Well, if it's any consolation, as an INXS lover, I HATED the new song "Us" they debuted during the final 6(?). But then I really liked the new cd Switch. So maybe that's a trend with Rock Star. Maybe? *wishful thinking*

It's not going to get better. And to top it off the winner will be out of a job in another year when the band breaks up. (if it takes THAT long).

Didn't watch last night (had something more important to do ), but I wouldn't vote for Dilana anyway.

Of course, if it sucked as bad as you say, I should probably start voting for her.

Wow, I gotta hear this song.

Funny how last season INXS finally got to perform their new song and that was not tremendously popular. It wasn't until JD got out there and sang pretty Vegas that INXS had a killer track song. Maybe we will see the same thing here.

Perhaps Glow is right and they will sound better with another singer. Dilana, for all her uniqueness, is fairly one dimensional and has not grown during this competition. (Not surprising given the lack of constructive criticism directed towards her). She delivered a predictable performance of a mediocre song.
