I'm pretty easy, but there are a few things that are Nos for me.
Please no candles or sweets. As many of you know by now from FB, I have breast cancer. Sometime at the end of November/beginning of December, I will be going through some major surgery with a lengthy recovery at home. I won't be doing much excercise, so the sweets will not be a good idea.
Books (mysteries) or DVDs are great. I already own Season 1 of Survivor and TAR and the entire Friday Night Lights series.
I consider myself fairly active. Once I recover I will again start swimming/biking/running again.
Sports: I like Notre Dame, the Redskins, and the Atlanta Braves.

Likes (am very easy to please):
- explosives, things that go boom; guns, cannons, hand grenades, jet fighters. Used but flyable Jet fighters or bombers are just fine with me. I really want an F/B111.
- kitschy non-serious inexpensive stuff.
- seriously expensive stuff.
- Homemade food items. Homemade liquor is money well spent.
- bumper stickers, local crafts, local memorabilia.
- Fooner's Duesenberg collection.
- Vintage guitars; old Gold Top Les Pauls, Fender Strats, old Martins. I don't play much anymore, but I want them anyway.
- If you're from South Louisiana (or from anyplace that has great sausages), Andouille sausage, Tasso, Boudin.
- If you're from Vermont or Wisconsin or France (or from anyplace that has great cheeses), Sharp cheeses.
- Whiskey. Wine. Beer. Rubbing alcohol. (Not a teetotaler me).

Dislikes:
- (nothing is coming to mind...Oh yeah) Not a fan of pop, hip hop, rap, etc.
- Chocolate, candy (except homemade).
- fruit cake. (Exception: Rum pastries, bourbon pastries, and nut cake, without those weird little green and yellow things).
- Used harmonicas. Sorry, but some lip/gum diseases are contagious.

I like anything representative of your area, such as magnets and T-shirts (size M) or whatever, food munchies, cat stuff, humorous books and magazines, or just about anything that comes in the mail. I like opening presents.
Not interested in Christmas stuff, sports, coffee, tea, or fruitcake.

Personally, I'd use foam peanuts to make sure the merchandise wasn't damaged.
It would add a little insulation for the FedEx box, too. At 30,000' I hear it gets cold.

I do like fruitcake.
I also like tea, coffee, chocolate (dark, but I'll eat anything), baking mixes if unusual or different (not just Betty Crocker I can get anywhere).
Bird themed Christmas ornaments.
Something (recipies or mixes or anything like that) for my new cocktail shaker.
Stuff from your local area of any kind (the kitchier the better).
Bath stuff, floral or spice, not fruit scented.
ETA: One year my Mom saw an amaretto soaked fruitcake (mmmm amaretto) at Needless Markup um Neiman Markus and was going to get it for me until she looked at the price. For less she bought some amaretto and used it on part of her homemade fruitcake instead of brandy.
Hmmm Amaretto and Brandy, maybe that has something to do with learning to like fruitcake.

And your son was involved? Did he and Karchita lure you onto the Seattle Sedan muffler with the promise of cookies and a companion Opossum, where they fed you fruitcake and leftover turkey sandwiches in order to get you to let your guard down?

I should have guessed. I had heard rumors of a Karchita plot to enslave someone named Fooner, but with all the Fooners around, it was hard to pin down exactly who they were targeting.
Well, you escaped so I guess I can call the milk people and ask them to take your picture off their cartons. Good thing, 'cause I really didn't have a picture of you and I had to give then a picture that came with a new wallet.
Maybe it was you anyway, you ever done any modeling for a wallet company?

Maybe play LA Woman.
Currently watching "The Way Back" on Netflix. My younger self can identify with some of it. Hopefully it turns out well for these fellows and they wind up happy!
But maybe not that guy with a knife. Maybe not.
It's like "The Incredible Journey" in Siberia.
