An employee's posting of frying an egg in a pan in Death Valley was intended to demonstrate how hot it can get here, with the recommendation that if you do this, use a pan or tin foil and properly dispose of the contents. However, the Death Valley NP maintenance crew has been busy cleaning up eggs cracked directly on the sidewalk, including egg cartons and shells strewn across the parking lot.

This is your national park, please put trash in the garbage or recycle bins provided and don’t crack eggs on the sidewalks, or the Salt Playa at Badwater. (nm)

I was following a Toyota Land Cruiser through the desert in my Jeep one time when I got a "Triple Mooner" from the sunroof.


Women are mostly crazy. Lots of fun, though.

Feels like 41C here (106F). Just survived a hour and half at a splash pad with the kids - even while spending most of the time standing right in the middle of the pad, I still got baked out there.

They lost power to most of the studio while filming Monday's show.

Tuesday he quiped that they figured it was just a city-wide black out because it is, "One hundred and ball sweat degrees outside and everyone has their air conditioners cranked up to penguin house."

Yeah it's hot and my AC doesn't work in the car. I have 440 AC instead, 4 windows down 40mph. Whachoo gonna do. Although it's only 91 but Real Feel is 104.

I'm hot!
