Nashville Star

Last week, the Amazing Racers traveled to Nashville to learn about the grand 'ol opry. The racers really whizzed through the Roadblock, which pretty much consisted of writing a cheesy country song. Victor's song was called, "My Sister Ain't Listening to Me." Oh, and I think Jaime attacked Carrie Underwood. That wasn't one of the Detour options.

Of everyone there, I thought Luke was the luckiest one. I hate country music.

Well, actually, there was no TAR last week. And the week before that, Mel & Mike were eliminated.

Risk / Reward

This week's scoring was mostly about the comp wagers, as very few people got the bonus correctly. There were a lot of risky fully comped All-In wagers and most of the paid off very nicely. Overall, the ranks didn't change much, with a few notable mentions.

We did have three more players bust of the game, Estee, Snidget, and AddieRacer. All three made some risky wagers, either for the bonus or the regular wagers. And, as I always say, it's always better to go down in flames at this game.

This week's Perfect Bet Award goes to FFantasyFX, who put a considerable amount of his points on the Lucky 7 game... And it really paid off! Other nice wagers included KwietOne, flipxcyd, and 5cats who all had a nice comped 3.5x payout.

The Greatest Gainer Award goes to FFantasyFX who jumped 12 ranks to #15 overall. Why? Didn't you just read the last paragraph? Geez.

Every bonus game has its own codeword. To make the wagers easy to identify, just label them using the codewords. The different wagers are below.

1. Title - Which team says this week's episode title, "Rooting Around in People's Mouths Could Be Unpleasant"?
2. Lost - Which team says the word "lost" first?
3. Taxi - Which team says the word "taxi" first?
4. Phil - Which team says the word "Phil" first?
5. Karaoke - Which team says the word "karaoke" first?
6. Supercilious - Which team says the word "supercilious" first?
7. Detour - Which team says the word "Detour" first?
8. Polite - Which team says "thank you" or "thanks" first?
9. PAT - Which team finishes in 3rd place this week?

For #1-8, if the magic word isn't said, then there is no correct answer and all those wagers gets 0x. Remember, you can pick and choose whichever bonus you want. Just make sure you label how much your bet is going to be.
