I've sometimes used a finger cot to help keep a bandaid on a finger tip as well as protect it while it is healing.

I have not read the rest of the thread, but I am sorry you cut your finger. I bought some new knives a few months ago, and every time I used the new paring knife, I would cut my thumb, so I bought some cut proof gloves. The gloves are too big for me, and too bulky to use while cutting something. I decided it was too expensive to send them back, so I cut one of the fingers off, and wear it on my thumb when I use that paring knife. I still have 9 fingers left to cut off when the one I am using wears out.

I haven't heard of cut proof gloves, although it sounds like a good idea.

TBH I only scored my little finger and unless I poke it there isn't any pain (very sharp knife!)

A tick bite that itches for 8 weeks? What does the rash look like? Could you have Lyme disease? Each time I had a rash from a tick bite that itched like crazy it was Lyme - even though my stoopid doctor claimed that a Lyme rash doesn't itch.

Go get it checked out.

No rash; just a small bite spot. size of spot depends on how much I scratch.

I now have 3.
I'm trying something new. Put a drop of water on an aspirin, let it soften.
Wet the bite spot; rub the aspirin into the bite spot.
It is actually helping!
