Our lovely lunar lady will be needing the Power of OT over the next few days as she gets ready for an upcoming surgical procedure.

She's been a real hero keeping up her sense of humor while going through all the testing/pre-surgical preparation carp and she's got a great network of family support giving her lots of love and making all the necessary preparations for her convalescence.

I humbly ask on her behalf that we all say a little prayer or direct a little positive vibe her way as the day of her surgery, Tuesday May 1st, draws closer. If you happen to know how to contact any OTers that have drifted away from the community but who might still like to give moonie a shout out of support then, by all means, please spread the word. We all know that the Power of OT weaves its best magic when there's a little bit of the old 'blast from the past' mixed in with it.

My feline instincts already tell me that everything is going to turn out perfectly fine but why waste such an excellent opportunity to fire up The Power of OT for one of our community's most kind-hearted, funny, smart and beautiful residents.

OT... Powerrrrrrrr... ON!

The Pwer of OT is strong! I will take the power with me on Tuesday. In the medical conspiracy to escalate the stress level I won't know what time surgery is until Monday. xanax xanax xanax...sometimes just saying it is enough. Now would not be one of those times. Where ARE those pills...

I ♥ you, OT. Old friends and new-you've come through for me time and again. The best peeps in the world are right here. I am so grateful

Time to download some library books for recovery reading and do what I do best these days: go to sleep.

The earlier the better. Less chance of the surgeon getting delayed elsewhere and having to wait and wait and wait (especially when you're hungry since you haven't been able to eat or drink since the night before.)

I just received the following email from moonie's sister:

"My sister is in recovery and everything went perfectly. She's coming home tomorrow! Thanks for your concern and I'm sure she'll be in touch!"

I don't think that I have ever seen the word 'perfectly' used in such a perfectly happy fashion! What a relief!
