Has anyone been watching this show? I think it's very interesting but I haven't seen any postings about it. I'm surprised you guys aren't tearing into this one!

I had to re-edit this post because at first I wasn't sure whether I had successfully posted a new thread or not. I wanted to admit that I wasn't sure if it would be bold for a guy with only 17 postings to post a new thread, but since no one tackled it, I didn't think anyone would mind.

Well, if anyone is interested in this show, please respond. I am curious to hear your opinions and speculations. I would also like to know if anyone knows why the sweepers are there, and what do they represent?

Re-edited to capitalize an "I". How obsessive is that?

I have been following this show...

First of all, I think that the sweepers will eventually have something to do with solving the crime... but why are they there??? Cause they're creepy as hell!!! And because I think that they're the writers/producers/etc... when the cameras are swinging in every possible direction, I think that the idea of the sweepers is to hide the production crew from the audience (and also the contestants, to a degree).

As for what I think happened??? I have no clue, except to say that the burned man is obviously integral to the plot... there's definately more to this story... I love a good whodunnit, so I can't wait to find out whodiddit.

And people are never flamed if they post a good new thresd, and this one qualifies... I should know... my first post ever was a new thresd.

I follow this show too..

But I have no idea who did it, or why the sweepers are there. They do seem to show up where clues are present, or when somthing is about to happen. I gotta hand it to that Kristen, she has some kinda luck! Like her or not, I think she deserves to win this contest.

I've been watching it from the start, except for one episode that I missed. I too have found it quite interesting to follow. As for the sweepers, I'm not really sure what they are for, but I agree that they're very freaky.

As to who did it, each week they seem to point fingers in different directions. And so far, the suspects they have eliminated never seem to be the ones that seemed guilty to begin with. So at this point, it's almost impossible to know who did it. My question is, is it possible for it to be more than one of the suspects who committed the murders?

Glad you brought this topic up, I too was wondering if anyone here was watching it!

Some information I've gathered from posters at 3BigShows.com.
Apparently, Hayden DeBeck is the leader of a Mind/Science cult of some sort. The sweepers are his followers. They always seem to be around when things happen, and possibly they are spying on the town as well, and cleaning up after someone's mistakes.
And with this new information, I think that makes it doubly creepy.
As for Kristen, God bless her! Jeff better be careful or he might go out on the next one. He's gettin' kinda cocky.

I think that Angel is a genius... he knows that Kristen is gonna keep being sent out each Ep, and by befriending her, he knows that when she is finally killed, he will be appointed lifeguard, and at this late stage, it could be the difference between life and death!!!

I agree that Angel is smart. He was also the only one to befriend Andy. But maybe they will give up sending Kristen out. They could just send Jeff out with someone.

I don't know why but I keep thinking the killer is DeBeck the cult leader. But I think I feel that way because he is the only actor I recognize from anywhere. But then I do worry about the mayor. Anyone who is a part-time clown has to be up to something.

I'm really having a hard time deciding, but it's very possible there is more than one killer here. What strikes me as odd, is why Mary Elizabeth is sleeping with the Rev. Crandall. Or at least it seems that way.
At this point, I want Angel or Katie to win.

Well it sounds like Abby slept with the Reverand. And Mary Elizabeth seems to want to sleep with everyone that Abby slept with. Mary Elizabeth wants to be Abby.

I think we can take Thibideaux off the suspect list. How could he be with Kristen while Brian was being killed off if he's the killer?

Unless of course there is more than one killer...

Do you really think Abby slept with the Rev.?
Or is this some other twisted personal relationship of Mary Elizabeth's?
I noticed in the episode when they found Abby's car, it was Deanna Harris that dragged M-E away from Jimmy Tinker. Harris is Lambert's attorney and lover. M-E works at the strip joint run by Lambert. A rather odd family type connection. This show is like The Simpsons on crack.
Small town.
All kinds of quirky but creepy personalities.
With about 30 more pounds Fredo could look like Chief Wiggum.
I also wonder if the DuChamps family were on Oscar Blodgett's boat when the Burnt Man blew it up. That would explain their disappearance, except for the fact that they found Oscar Blodgett's body.
I think Sam Larabee is a good bet to be cleared next, even though she had a motive to kill Leita-Rose Blodgett.
Just a few current thoghts on the situation. All comments and speculations welcome.

Edited for spelling
