OMG..that is so funny. I really like Lukas, but I had to admit that I too was a bit freaked out by his fishnet gloves. I can live with the black nail polish and the tats..but yes, channeling "Madonna from the 80s" was a bit creepy...

Yeah, I was going to mention the Madonna gloves too but I didn't want to pick on him too hard! I think it's all cool and keeps it interesting.

I think I'm all alone on this one but someone (oo! oo! pick me!) has to take the unpopular position.

I REALLY don't like Lucas. I don't like his look, I hate his attitude and he grates on my every nerve. I find him arrogant and annoying with his superior smirk or aristocratic scowl. There is no question that he is definitely talented, I won't say that he isn't - but he just drives me nuts.

Pagong, I understand your feelings about Lukas, especially his "look". It is definitely weird and a little too "punk" for me. What I do like about him is that I find myself somewhat surprised at his performances and wanting to see what he does next. I like when a performer can keep my interest like that.
I thought that even though Lukas was sitting down that he connected well with the audience during the song. They really seem to like him.
I still don't have a favorite but I have really been enjoying some of the more creative performances this season.

Totally, 100% agree with everything you said. And that's rare.
Ever since ep 1 I've despised this "dude". I remember the exact moment I saw his face for the first time on camera. I thought to myself "Aaaaaaaack....what was that???"
That was before I knew he was a contestant.....or shall I say "Rocker"? My second thought was that he looks like an Oompa-Loompa. I hated his rendition of "Hero" last night and his much worse version of "Celebrity Skin". I mean, had he ever heard that song before that night?? I think not.

Sorry, just had to rant about him. I feel better.

I just thought I would let you know, that I am starting to backpedal on Lukas. Last nights performance was perfect. When he was done I said that was EXACTLY what this band needed. His voice was perfect - as well as his performance.

And his interview was great - "I am everyman, I just happen to wear more makeup." He showed a little more humility and just regular-guy-ness than I anticipated from the way I percieved he was earlier in the show.

He's still not my favorite (for now, I'd have to pick Magni or Toby), but he is definitely off my S-list.


But, the four of us had a great time.

I thought Lukas really kicked butt last night and looked absolutely adorable. He seemed especially good-looking last night. I thought of you licking the screen..LOL. I always thought Lukas was quite small, but when he was standing next to Jason and Gilby after the SN performance, he was the same height as them!

Very sad to see Mr. Intensity go, but we still have Lukas!!! Hope you have recovered by this morning... it's all good...

I love that boy, that's for sure. His look when SN said Ryan's name was priceless. I love him.

No screen licking last night. He certainly is quite the gorgeous though.

Actually, I was a huge fan of the first Rock Star, and that was the song INXS released after Pretty Vegas! So........it really is a nod to Rock Star and JD -- but damn, those Canadians can rock! Definitely not a stalker, not to worry!

Lukas was awesome last night! There is something about his stage presence that really draws you in and makes you want to listen. Even when he does an acoustic song, there is nothing boring about it. I can't really put it into words.
I think SuperNova is genuinely entertained by him. Considering how much music these guys listen to, I think that means a lot.
I haven't had a "favorite" up until now and it's definitely Lukas. I think they are all talented but Lukas is the one that I can't wait to hear! I might even be interested in seeing SuperNova live if I can see Lukas perform.

Great song too...my favorite of the originals. You can bet it will be on the 'SuperNova' cd.

Some say Lukas lived a difficult life. Any got any background in that. I find it weird if he lived such a miserable...poor life how he has such great teeth.

I too totally love Headspin.....it just sticks in my head and is not nearly as annoying as "oh oh oh oh" from Toby (although I love Toby and think is really cute..a bit too fluffy for me!) I am one happy camper today...

I was off work for a few days & tuned into a few talk shows. Wondered if I'd see Supernova anywhere (although I doubted it...not exactly the right audience).

Well, I had to see the trainwreck-Rosie on The View. Thursday morning, she said something exciting! She said "I love the Keebler Elf, the Keebler Elf is here & we're going to do a musical number!"

Is it bad that I immediately thought of Lukas?
