"Canadian Idol Voting Problems...."

Every time I call to vote for Jenny (of course!) I ALWAYS get through.
Is everyone else ALWAYS getting through. I never get a busy signal.
Anyone else dealing with this?
Votes even count ya think?
I mean we know that Jenny, Billy and Ryan are going to be the top 3.
Any Thoughts people?????

Welcome to the boards.

I, for one, have never voted for Jenny (I actually have some pretty strong opinions about her), but for the other people I try to vote for, I do get busy signals. I find I usually wait about a half hour and then I get through with no problem.

Three is the perfect number.

Strid333,
I am really curios to know what your strong opinions about Jenny are...
If you want to tell me, please post.

Well, because I'm too lazy to repeat what I already said, I'll just give you the link:

I think your picks are right on. Looks like someone else agrees.
Found these comments on another site:

Jenny is the Best
Billy gave an awesome performance last night, and will no
doubt get lots of votes. However, Jenny has the best voice
and is the most consistent. Ryan is pretty stable too, but
you never know what to expect from the others. The
Canadian Idol shouldn't be just a Flash in the Pan, but
someone more dependable. I might add that Jenny looked
absolutely amazing last night, and she still gets my vote
as the best overall.

Well, now we know it was because no one else was voting for her.

The real problem is that there are some that think their votes are worth 100's of times more than others. The results would probably be very different if they only allowed one vote per household. Even being voted out instead of in would probably work better. The Americans actually have a petition going to try and change things for their future shows, so hopefully it
will lead to some changes here too.

It doesn't matter with the Americans anyway. Even if someone won fair and square, the producers will rig the outcome so their "favorite" will win.

Maybe that's happening here too.
Better talent has already gone home.

I think it's like Ben Mulroney already said, if they really wanted to rig the Canadian competion, do you think they would have sent Toya home when they did?

Well, the top four have given some pretty poor performances, and they are still there? While others, more talented, are not. I don't know about being rigged - most are probably just anxious to participate and voting for their hometown favourites, without giving much thought to what they are actually voting for.

He has also posted some unflattering comments
about some contestants, so I'm not so sure I
would put too much weight on what he says.
