Anyone watch All My Kids? Does anyone think that the new Kendall looks like Jerri from Survivor 2? Shes as bad an actress as she is.

I am having a grand ole time watching soaps today. We got Jerri's evil twin on All My Kids, Gman on a cane and Sally freakin Struthers on General Hospital. I almost pissed my pants when I saw her in scenes from last week. Too bad she isn't on today, but at least she is bringing back together Luke and Laura, the BEST soap couple of all time!

Clearly, the best soap couples are found on CBS! I give you two excellent examples from ATWT:

Betsy and Steve -- The Greek bad boy and his WASP-y bride. I'm so glad that creepy Craig didn't destroy their love!

and of course

Holden and Lily -- I've been lusting after this stable boy since I was in high school. Even though he has lost his stubble and slept with his wife's long-lost twin, he's still the dreamiest dream hunk in dreamland.

Now, do I have to go find pictures of Harley & Mallet, Philip & Beth, Josh & Reva and Roxie & Johnny from Guiding Light to further illustrate my point - or can we just all agree that CBS soaps are best?

Luke and Laura are the all time supercouple. Compared to them, everyone else is a pale imitation. There wedding was amazing. Hell Elizabeth Taylor (Helena Cassadine) was there. Who can forget Laura's first husband Scotty catching the bouquet and Luke fighting him.

I love ATWT, Jack and Carly, Hal and Emily, Lily and Holden, Mike and Rosanna, awesome couples. However, no one can touch the magic that is Luke and Laura. Hell, they were even on the cover of Time magazine.(or Newsweek, it was 22 years ago) No other soap couple has endured as long.

I cut school, and walked 2 miles to a friends house to watch their wedding. Luke and Laura were an event. I haven't watched a soap in 15 years, so I don't know who is good anymore. But I must say I am shocked that Luke and Laura are still around. And how come these people are like MY age. Weren't they in their thrirties when I was in High School????

Seriously Luke has to be like 60 now.

I consider myself a Luke and Laura expert. I know,I am sick, but I majored in soaps in college. In 1980, when Luke and Laura wed, I was six years old and I was allowed by my sisters to watch it. Genie Francis (Laura) was only about 19 then and she still looks awesome. When she first got together with Scotty she was only 16 and being tutored on the set. ANthony Geary (Luke) is in his fifties, he has never given his true age however.

Because of my little fall today, I made it home in time to see Laura tell Luke she will remarry him. Some evil writers broke them up and they divorced, but the whole time they have still been in love with each other. Of course, nothing will rival their first wedding, but I can't wait to see this wedding.

How corny was I? I used to have GH pins that said "Love in the Afternoon" and "I Love Luke and Laura"
