Is this chick for real? Does she honestly think that her "flirting" is good enough to be seductive and enticing? I found it fake and pathetic.

Not that she isn't attractive, but she needs to learn how to sell the package, and she ain't got that part down yet.

I also beg to differ - she's not attractive at all. I don't care if she learns to sell it; I wouldn't buy it no matter what sales pitch she had.

I agree that her strategy is questionable. It has worked for others in the past (Romber) and she knows she can't compete physically. This show is all about numbers, and if she can get a couple of the macho guys to want to look out for her that might help.

I didn't find her overly attractive last night as she really seemed to over-smile. Her teeth were coming out of her mouth like a great white shark on the attack.

But this morning I see the following picture on the seeBS site, and she certainly is very attractive in this picture...


And a Packers fan??

She's only attractive up to the point where one can see ribs. That just wrecks it. That and she's kind of annoying. No, you can't tell that from a picture. But you sure can from watching the show.

And I thought her hat was a University of Georgia hat, not a Packers hat...but I kind of couldn't tell.

I was chuckling at her flirting attempts. There was one time where she was striking a pose (I can only assume she thought it was seductive) and I just laughed. It looked so much like a camerman had said, "Okay, now put your arms like this, turn your head this way. Arch your back. Okay, now smile."

I agree, it came off as very fake and desperate. Parvati just simply thinks she's better at flirting than she actually is. If anything this could put a target on her back that may have otherwise not been there. The woman this season don't seem the type to use the flirt strategy and this may come to annoy them.

I got a very clear feeling that it was all about strategy for Perv-at-it (or Havarti or Poverty or whatever we're calling her these days) ... there was a comment from her in confessional where she said she's got to do what it takes.

It doesn't say much for her long-term if the best she can do for "strategy" is some obviously fake flirting. There have been several female Survivor winners who got the job done without flirting at all, so why did Parvati think she had to go that route? Is it a flash of genius? I think not.


She's not even that cute. None of the women are this season...

You're right. Desparate and Pathetic are two most perfect words to describe Parvati this episode.

IMO the reference to Amber is a bit inaccurate. Amber didn't go around flirting with everyone born with a peni$. She focused only on Rob, and Rob was just as flirtatious as her.

Of course Parvati will claim that it's the best "strategy" that a pretty girl has to work with who can't complete with the REAL players.

Parvati should order Survivor Guatemala when it comes out on DVD...then she'll see how a pretty girl could emerge victorious WITHOUT being "desparately pathetic".
