"Playing the role of Lifecoach"

Okay,

I'd like to play the role of lifecoach for a minute. This show needs to get back to concrete life goals and skip all the emotional/therapy crap. Here's how I would have "lifecoached" some of the current houseguests. Notice the use of distinct mini goals en route to a larger real goal.

Christina:
#1) Write a journal entry about what life will look like after leaving the SOH. i.e. I'll be working a full time job, my son will be in a quality daycare, blah, blah, blah.
#2) Call all former "services" that you've worked for and tell them that you are getting out of the business and to remove your name, number, email, photos, etc. Christina may not have rights to some of her photos, so they may not get removed. But the responsible thing to do is to request that they be removed anyway.
#3) Cancel your former cell phone/pager/P.O. box/etc. that you used for clients to contact you.
#4) Sell anything that you might own, but will not be able to afford without your stripper money. ie. car, televisions, anything bought with credit.
#5) Meet with a career counselor and take personality tests to determine which career to pursue.
#6) Job shadow and do informational interviews with people in some of the careers suggested by the personality profile
#7) Get yourself enrolled in the training necessary (college, etc.)
#8) Apply for financial aid and public assistance if necessary
#9) Meet with a budget specialist to budget the money you'll have coming in from student aid, work study, and/or public assistance.
#10) Graduate with your first semester tuition and a series of consultations with the budget specialist to help you stay on budget after leaving the SOH

Lisa:
#1) Call parents and/or write them a letter telling them you WILL NOT be accepting any more handouts from them.
#2) Same as Christina's steps above # 4-10

That's all I have time for now. Anyone else want to play lifecoach??

Very good list MermaidM. You're hired!

I would add:

* Christina needs to get her GED before she can go to college or tech school. They should have her in the same kind of prep classes they sent Cassie2 to last year.
