Hmph. You celebrate: until I start seeing some strategy applied against an existing (and visible) rulebook, I'm going to start looking for my own Royal Pardon.

Okay, I timed this one. Between saga cell and recap: four minutes of the forty-eight used/wasted. So either very little is happening on this show, MB thinks none of us can keep the format & events straight, or A + B with an option of throwing in C. Whatever that is.

For the craftsman's share:

I'm still waiting to hear who 'Zanzibar' is. Come to think of it, I want to know why 1726 is so important. Maybe that's the year MB's family made landfall in Australia. Or maybe it's just the number of people he had to steal this idea from.

I'm getting really tired of these sabotage points, especially when they seem to determine just about everything -- and this is the second one in a row to come with a serious chance of injury. Admittedly, the first one was player guts/error -- not the brightest idea to stand in the middle of the thing unless you know exactly what your'e doing -- but this one gets strategist and numbskull alike.

Yep, but then if I were running the show killing a few of them off at a sabotage point might start to appeal.

But this time RED team was 'sabotaged' and still out-thought the black crew.

Maybe the tasks will become more thinking based in the future.

Ah the Royal Pardon is a wealth redistribution program.

Louie is elected captain, selects Sean and Nessa as officers.

Royal Pardon: Basically immunity from blackspot. Secret bids to the captain before the Blackspot Ceremony. Winning bidder gets the pardon. If they don't use it, they must sell it before the next Pirate's Court's Blackspot Ceremony.

I think some people (not Jon) are taking their black points too personally. To me it looks like Louie is trying to stack the vote against Jon by picking people who would not be voted off.

As for the pardon, will Louie spread around that money too?

I don't pretend to know if Joe Don is a real jerk or not, as I only get to see a few mins of highly edited show designed to make him Captain Villian.

But if he was really so bad, how come he is still on board and there was no mutiny.

I like Loupert less than I did 2 eps ago. This whole grudge thing is really a bit over the top.

Loupert - LOL. I don't like him at all. He's acting like a big bully. Hopefully he'll be gone very soon.

I have no problem with Joe Don. Sad to see Cheryl go.
