The title "slip through your fingers" indicates sand. The Indiana Jones reference makes it sound like the first scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark, when Indy had to place a sandbag on a pedestal to mimic the weight of the idol he was stealing. He was wrong though, and then the big boulder came rolling after him.

So it may be a weight guesstimation challenge, or filling sandbags with a certain amount of sand, or something along those lines.
