This weekend I saw a movie called Irreversible and I couldn't help but think about how it relates to Average Joe. Some may question how I can compare a cheesy reality show to a shockingly violent movie, but for those who have seen this film (and presumably understood it) didn't the three characters in the love triangle remind you of archetypes of The Beauty Queen, The Average Joe and The Stud? Not to mention the ramifications of choosing The Stud over The Average Joe?
