"From TV Guide for the Finale and Aftermath Shows"

From TV Guide for the Finale:
bold added by me

Finale starts at 8p.m.(est) on Monday 2/17

Joe Millionaire
120 min.
Evan Marriott selects his favorite lady from the two finalists in the two-hour series finale.
The chosen one will no doubt be delighted. What she feels---and expresses---next is anyone's guess after she learns that her Prince Charming is not exactly living a charmed life; that he's not a $50 million man, but rather an average guy with, as Fox publicity puts it, “only limited financial means.” The first hour is a series recap; the second builds to the big dramatic scene when Evan painfully tells his lady love the truth.

Finding it similarly painful to say goodbye to a good ratings thing, Fox will present a follow-up special titled Joe Millionaire: The Aftermath on Monday, Feb. 24.

And TVguide's take on the Aftermath show:
Airs: Feb.24th at 9p.m. (est)

Joe Millionaire: The Aftermath
60 min.
Fox offers one last cup of Joe as Evan Marriott finally sees the lady he lied to for love.
“We reunite Evan with his final selection for the first time since November,” says producer Chris Cowan, explaining that the pair have been kept apart since filming the finale to “protect the surprise.” But Cowan believes that the time away---and what Evan has learned about his choice from watching the series---could cause Evan to question his decision. “It should be interesting,” he teases. Also included are reactions from the 19 passed-over ladies to the faux prince's secret, butler Paul Hogan's take on the romantic ruse and a segment on several guys who failed to make the Millionaire cut.

The first hour is a series recap

Another freaking re-crap?!! You've got to be kidding me. What, in case you missed the entire series (all of 5 episodes) AND last night's re-crap snore-fest?

Fox reality series suck.

But Fester, they only re-crapped Zora and Sarah last night! What about the other 18 women? Don't they deserve to have their 15 seconds of fame re-crapped too?

This is really ballsy by Fox and quite the insult to the viewers.

Yeah, it's called that stupid 5 minute intro that they've used over and over again on this show because the target demographic's brains are so ruined by years of drug use, alcohol use, backyard wrestling, and Jerry Springer that they need the complex and nuanced development in this idiot show explained to them every week. <Not that I'm bitter about that>

This is really ballsy by Fox and quite the insult to the viewers.

Naahh, the typical viewer of this show's idea of an insult usually isn't any deeper than the following sentence..."Ya think yer better'n me?"

This was a really good series up until the end, but Fox is now trying to milk it... and they're f-ing it up by doing so. Bastiges!

I am sooooo with you Dawg, and Fester, and Draco for that matter. This dragging out the end for ratings will sour the series in my opinion. Just get it over already. They do all the extras later. I mean come on.

I can't take it anymore. And with Survivor starting, I may not even bother watching it. I will just swing by here and find out what happened.

And don't forget they are reshowing last nights re-crap on Thursday (up against Survivor) just to make sure we are all fully prepared for Monday's re-crap which will no doubt be reshown the following Thursday.

Why not just put it on continual loop until next Monday? Screw 24 and American Idol, we don't want a soul in the US to miss out on Joe's big surprise!

NO! Not another hour of recrap. Why not spend the first hour showing the reactions of the others when they were told about Evan not being rich. I would watch that. But do we really have to rewatch all the ladies having their dance with him? I want new material not the same old.

Is Fux TRYING to piss us off with ANOTHER re-crap? Thank god I've got Dirty Rotten Cheater to fill that first hour. I'll join in at about 8:30 thank you very much.

>But Cowan
>believes that the time away---and
>what Evan has learned about
>his choice from watching the
>series---could cause Evan to question
>his decision.

I still am of the mind that Zora is the chosen one, but this statement gives me pause. At first I read it as "what Evan has learned about his choice since the series end" read: Sarah's film career. But since it says "from watching the series", what do y'all think that could mean? They have edited Zora as Snow White. I don't remember much that Zora has said derogatory about Evan. Sarah, OTOH, has said stuff like, "rough around edges", and "not quite my type", etc.

My days of attempting to help spoil Survivor may have made me a little too paranoid. Am I reading too much into this?

GEEZ.........a re-crap of a re-crap episode...aaarrrrrghhhhhh!

Dunno Bebe, the first time I read that, I thought the same thing, what could Snora have done that would make him rethink his choice....she is so milk toast bland and in desperate need of a friggin personality transplant, I don't see what she could have done.

Sarah on the other hand has been cocky, talked about spending all the money, insulted him off camera and everything else..........sometimes I think we get so spoiler crazy that we overthink everything!

As soon as I realized last night was a re-crap, I turned on the Westminster Kennel Club Show. Gave a whole new meaning to b!tches parading around and being judged.

Hmmm, guess this means I'll have an extra hour on my hands next Monday, since the first half sounds ridiculously dull. Kinda like the whole series would have been if Alex had been on more.
