Row, Row, Row Your Boat...

Boy, did that rowing screw up a lot of teams. Combined with that wind that Lyn/Karlyn complained about, the Detour really jumbled around the teams. Tom and Terry, who arrived 2nd at the Detour, was most affected by the rowing, as they slowly fell to the back of the pack and were eliminated.

Shenanigans!

This was probably the weirdest week of scoring for the TAR Casino Game ever. Usually we have a whole bunch of either big gains or big losses. This week, everyone's score stayed relatively the same, scoring either small gains or small losses. That was probably due to the fact that the two teams shown struggling in the previews ended up being the top two teams. And the gap in scoring between 2nd & 3rd was very large. There were a few people who did exceptional well, and some who had poor a poor week, thanks to Dustin/Kandice's finish.

Not too many people got the Bonus right. The correct combinations were...

It looked like a lot of people were banking on Tom/Terry finishing last, but not a single person expected Rob/Kimberly to finish first. Still, some people did get the bonus correct, including Higgs, Weez, 5cats, mbabane, popeave and girlgeek. Good job, you guys. For a couple of you, without that bonus, you would've been in real trouble... So nice save!

Week 2's Perfect Bet Award goes to mbabane (2.6x), who scored a max bet on the Bonus Game. Considering everyone else was scoring 1.1x and 1.2 for the week, that's very impressive. Weez (1.972x) also had a great week as well.

This week's Greatest Gainer Award also goes to mbabane. Look at this, everybody. mbabane jumped up an amazing 37 ranks to #14 overall. That's frickin' amazing. I've never seen anything like it. I'm not sure, but that might be the largest single-week jump in TAR Casino Game history. Congratulations!

Bonus Game: Whohoo for Raffles!

You guys were expecting PAT, huh? PAT's taking a break for now. Oh, don't look so sad.

Who loves raffles? Everyone. They're fun... they're exciting... Everyone wins. I mean who doesn't like raffles? Exactly. Nobody. That's who.

This week we are having a TAR Casino Game Raffle. You may choose to purchase raffle tickets for 1 point each. You may buy as many or as few tickets as you want. As long as you haven't overspent your points, or have bet them already in the regular game, I don't care how many you buy. Heck, if Higgs wanted to buy 136 raffle tickets, that would be fine.

For this raffle, there are three different colored baskets, one blue, one red, and one green. Each of these baskets will contain a prize or prizes. If you wish to be in the raffle drawing for that prize, put one or more of your tickets into that basket. For each ticket you put in a basket, you increase your chances of winning one of those prizes.

What are the prizes?

What does that mean? In the Blue Basket, there will be one drawing for a 50 point prize. In the Red Basket, there will be two drawings for 25 point prizes. And in the Green Basket, there will be seven drawings for 7 point prizes. Therefore, if you put two tickets in the Red Basket, for example, there is a chance that you could win both 25 point prizes. Same with the green basket.

So make sure, in your entry, you make sure to designate how many tickets you're going to buy, and which basket you're going to put them in.

All drawings will be completely random and will take place on Sunday night, after the show.
