That's when it was listed to come on, but the listings were wrong. I missed the first 10 min. of it because of that. Luckily I happened to switch channels during a commercial.

DF told me to quit telling people who I like. I'm a jinx. Neal's band kicks so much butt though. I didn't want him to win, I just wanted to see him for a few more weeks.

Yes, the contestants were ALL upset at him for saying he is the only one who is basically really trying. His remark won't get him more fans. He should remember who is voting !

Sometimes when people compliment you, you should just say, "Thanks" and then shut your mouth.
I KNEW he was about to say something wrong as soon as he started talking. He probably had to sleep out in the hall!
I think he's a great singer/front man, though. I hope he learned something about thinking before you speak!

I think it hurt JD with his fellow contestants. But when they replayed the clip from the house it was the other contestants whining that looked bad to INXS. I don't think they (other contestants) really expected that clip to be shown to the band and have Dave and INXS more or less back up JD.

I agree, INXS basically put JD out there as the one to beat. I think they really like the way he works with the house band to redo the songs to suit his style.

I was sorry to see Jessica in the bottom 3. For some reason I thought she wasn't that bad.


DW thinks I have a thing for women with deep sexy ruff voices. Who wouldn't?

My comments about last night.

The contestents over-reacted to JD's comments. It's a job interview and JD was trying to place himself at the top. So what - he said he likes INXS more than the others - BIG DEAL!

I thought the worse three were Neal, Jessica, and the REM girl.

Tara made it on previous performance and picking Black Sabbath. She was good in my opinion. She was the best of the three performing INXS.

As for Jessica, she is lame. She should stick to impersonating Cher. I mean does a Cher copy-cat realy fit INXS. Honestly if you bought tickets to an INXS show without knowing about this show and Jessica was up there singing...you would walk out and demand your money back.

As for watching the show it was painfully obvisious after watching the bottom three perform that Neal was going to go. Not only was he really bad, but I think INXS is trying to leave the impression that a female could win. They will get rid of the really bad males than watch a big run of women getting eliminated.

Again, back to Neal. His voice was terrible. He lacked emotion and his pronounciation was terrible. Jessica was bad too, but Neal was almost as bad as the rejects from American Idol who are on the first couple of episodes. INXS did comment that his body language was good, but voice lacked. I agree. Although I talked about Jessica being Cher. Neal was being Mick Jagger. They could have a show after this where they have the contestents impersonate other celebrities.

JD's remarks were rude and totally dissed the other contestants. What he said when INXS said he was the one most focused on winning was, "That's because while all the others are learning the INXS songs, I know them because I love them." His meaning was pretty clear and he could have said it another way that wasn't so insulting.

ETA: He owes them all an apology.

Last night was how it should have been, although I thought Deanna deserved to be in the bottom over Tara.

Glad INXS & Dave backed up J.D.

INXS gave praise to the right 3 for their performances.

LOVE this so much better than Idol (of course my man Burnett is a reality show machine).

Agree Weltek, I was hoping for just that shocker. Guess it's to early in the game for a Mark Burnett twist. Was comforting to know the voting public pretty much nailed who should have been put on the chopping block.
