Keep all lip syncing, results, special performances, agenda driven filler and judge ego battles here until the West Coast finishes calling the rehab center to get a break from this show.

I'm so over this excessively dramatic opera music.

It's Time To Face The Music.

Matrix numbers in the background.

Who's Going To Save The World Tonight?

Rap Solo/Call and Response segment.

Some of those notes were really off, so maybe they are live, or they just recorded a bad version.

I don't know -- they were holding the microphone as if any position more than two millimeters away from their faces would trigger the sniper rifles.

Also noted: Fakethis barely got any face time during the routine.

LA apologizes to Melanie. He says he is jealous and that kind of guy to take it out on people.

More Recappage

I tweeted last night to LA not to be jealous, wahahahaaaaaaa!

What is the random squeeks in her vocals?

And the random close up of one of the speakers?

A. She's AI quality.

B. They borrowed a camera operator from next door.

For the record:

I considered most of the people I know.

I considered everyone's occupation.

I considered my own activities.

Her outfit? Is still stupid.

You didn't like the neon stripes drawing the attention away from the blue hair down to her nether bits?

Not without the nightglow chemical treatment.

Do you think she's sick with talent? Or just mildly ill?

So once again: if you missed the first half-hour, you missed --

-- well --

-- there was this really hideous stage outfit...

"and this week..."

A bluejay beat them in the ratings

"Results"
Posted by Snidget on 11-10-11 at 09:39 PM
Judges walking out with their peeps.

And more of that opera music.

No Particular Order.

Stacy Francis *phhhhhhhbbbt*
Astro
Melanie Amaro
Marcus Canty

Remember in No Particular Order

Leroy Bell
Rachel Crow
Josh Krajcik
Drew

Three Acts Still Waiting
The Groups and Chris Rene

In No particular order

Chris Rene.

A Group will be going home.

Stereo Hoggz vs Lakoda Rain.

Talks to Paula. It is a nightmare situation, wouldn't have wanted any other category.

"Paula: Epic Fail."
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 09:42 PM
So after she loses her third act next week, do they send her home?

Fakethis and Astro as the first two safe... and both Simon & KA had a visible reaction to that initial name. Are we playing Lull The Fanbase Into False Security because so few speak 'in random order' no matter how many times it's repeated? What kind of game is the Agenda playing here?

Stay tuned. Unlike nearly everyone else.

Final Showdown.

Lakoda Rain

No Air.

The Stereo Hoggz

You Are Not Alone

"Screaming subtext."
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 09:48 PM
"We're drowning! Save us!" Actually, given the performance on some of the lines, it was less screaming subtext and more just screaming...

I think they're safe here. A pair of B2 appearances should knock the Hoggz out unless they light the stage on fire. Or the judges. And the stage can light itself.

"Beware the coming of the Timekeeper."
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 09:52 PM
Can we get a group off the stage in the time we have remaining? We can't even get Paula off her meds.

"Up to the Judges"
Posted by Snidget on 11-10-11 at 09:58 PM
After the Break.

Future in the hands of the judges, who do you want to send home. If a tie lowest vote total goes.

LA--Need an answer sir...The Stereo Hoggz (boos)
Nicole--The Stereo Hoggz
Paula--I'm not going to do this. Too close to both acts. You have to give me a name.
Simon says she is not going to vote
Paula is abstaining.

The rules state have to go with the majority, you have the deciding vote.

Simon, it is a done deal if Paula abstains.

Paula, finally saying sending home Lakoda Rain so it wasn't already a done deal.

Simon. Act you are sending home Simon...The Stereo Hoggz.

So Lakoda Rain stays in the competition.

"FOX Math."
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 10:01 PM
I did not miss the few seconds where Timekeeper thought Simon had to give his vote in order to create a definitive majority within three when two had already been cast for the same act.

Rick Perry would like him to be the new secretary of Education. If only that department still existed.

... in the football game. Switch to Fox. Catch the results and hugfest and signoff.

And back to the football game.

Did I miss anything?

Like I said last week, Paula was doomed from the start.

"RE: Break in the action"
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 10:09 PM
Did I miss anything?

There was a hideous outfit. And things caught fire. Which did not include the outfit.

And Paula lost her mind. Again.

"RE: Break in the action"

Looks like an inevitable format change coming.

Drop the Groups, add the Kids. Make the Boys and Girls 18 and over.

"Note to the host."
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 09:59 PM
Paula's insanity does not operate on a clock.

"Next week's question."
Posted by Estee on 11-10-11 at 10:06 PM
Will Paula, in fact, go three for three? The UK edition is notorious for having trouble getting groups established in the voter base: the only success they found was by forming one of tween lures. It feels like Lakoda Rayne was likely in tenth place last week and the fanbases haven't shifted yet. The show may want to preserve the last group for a while, especially with a Frankenstein -- but so much depends on who lands in B2 next to them.

"RE: Next week's question."
Posted by cahaya on 11-11-11 at 01:36 AM
Yeah, about Groups just not having a voter base. It's already obvious they're as much toast in the U.S. as they are in the U.K.

I noted above that they could keep it as four categories, but replace Groups with Teens (say 13-17, like Astro and Drew) and make the minimum age for Boys and Girls set at 18, up to 29, before we get to the 30's & Over.

They'll probably keep Lakoda Rain in another week at most if (which they almost certainly will) the land in the bottom two again, provided a another judge's favorite isn't at stake.

I don't think the mentor should have a vote, or at the very least, let the mentor go last in the vote. Who didn't see this Paula meltdown coming? (Apparently the producers and Timekeeper Jones didn't, given their beheaded poultry handling of the situation.)

it sure is, this is what spoils the x factor it is getting more and more "plastic", the original x factor back in 2004 to say 2006 was better now it is becoming a bit formulated.

though are we guilty of heckling some of the singers who cannot sing, so they are let through to the tv for that reason by the producers to boost ratings, because as i have discovered there are auditions before tv that are meant to weed them out yet they end up on tv and then get heckled!
