The Team that set the distress signal 16 years ago were scientists there to study something.

They had an incident.

How does that match up with the Hanso sending scientists there to study EM. And the quarrentine/sick thing. Think of the French woman (damn the name isn't coming to me) saying the team go sick people got killed,

There was an incident and now they do the 108 alarm thing.

Could be some connection? Or has this show driven me completely insane??

The copyright on the orientation film was 1980, 25 years ago, and the incident preceded that. Danielle has only been there for 16 years. But it still could be that similar incidents happened to both research groups, something inherent in the island itself.

One thing in the new TV guide which has a bunch of Lost stuff in it (if no one else gets to it I'll try to post a spoiler thread on that tonight or tomarrow morning)

But they indicated that the crash didn't necessarily happen in 2004 when the show premiered, so that makes any timeline issues much more fuzzy.

But it could be whatever mucked with the Hanso people (the quarrantine) was what made the French team sick, but it has died out since then.

Just seems odd there was "incidents" with both groups.

But the date on Christian's prescription bottle was from 09/2004.
