The Jackson family is not happy about the Pepsi moment comment, even though it wasn't IMO saying anything bad about Michael Jackson, but about the bad production choices by the Pepsi Ad people.

I don't think there's a single show left on the air which doesn't offend someone. There's just too much publicity involved in being angry.

And with that not-so-profound statement made, I hope we get a B4 tonight. The auto-out may be Ryan's guaranteed fantasy fodder, but it doesn't do anything for anyone else.

Sometimes you can get a sense of how well they can perform when they do duets like this. Scotty is a natural for it.

Scotty does have a great voice. Whether you like country music or not, he is really good.
It's sad sometimes that some people don't recognize talent just because they don't like the genre.
I personally don't like hard rock, but the rockers guys are talented.

I was thinking the same thing on performance night. I'm not into Scotty's style of country but I appreciate his talent and how well he did with an EJ song. I liked that he did a shout out to his grandmother like he was at his own concert giving a shout out to the crowd. Scotty seems like an old soul.

*sigh* Be glad for the Ford sponsorship: it meant they couldn't double-promote with any upcoming film. There's a lot of spandex this year and the car means the show can't profit off any of it.

Right from note one, too. I dig this song and as soon as I heard that first bar, I cringed. Stefano did passably with it, James knew what to do with it (even if restrained) and Casey seemed to be most into it.

At the very least, they're calling for their brown underwear. This is the situation they were voting like crazy to avoid last night: the 2/3 chance of getting skunked. (If you think votes are being counted.) And the 'shocker' here by show standards would be Paul going home. It's not as if they don't have backups aplenty, but the first loss is the hardest.

Ye gawds, the sausage is piling up to the sky. Take out Casey's scare and we've lost four females in a row. This is turning into a rerun of last year: the current voter base seems to want no female to ever win this again, and the totals keep proving it.

As for Paul... well, it's not as if the pain level was going down any time soon. This just brings a special element to it. A clockwork element composed mostly from brass.

I dread the reveal of next week's theme. Especially if it turns out to be steampunk.

Thia Megia was on AGT, Season 4. She performed during the Quarterfinals, but did not go into the Semifinal Round. I was not surprised that she was voted off AI last night.

Thanks, I don't watch AGT and didn't know how far she got. I think she should have waited a couple of years before trying AI...she may have done better if she had. Maybe just being on AI, though, is enough to do an album and a tour especially in the Phillipines where they love AI contestants from the USA.
