"Possible Non-Winner Spoiler"

This was taken from SS and provides a pretty good basis for Rich NOT winning. He's going to be hosting a talk show the week of 8/28 in RI. If he won a million, would he be scrounging on some talk show???? NOT! Plus he's going back to college for his Master's. Not the first thing a millionaire would do!

Here's the quote...

"We were sent the following press release concerning Rich's plans after Survivor. There is some really interesting background info on Rich in the release.

Providence, RI - CBS Survivor Richard Hatch will host his own 1-hour talk show on NewsTalk Radio 630 WPRO the week of August 28th. His show will take place weekday mornings from 9:00-10:00.
Richard Hatch runs his own business as a corporate trainer and
consultant conducting seminars on numerous topics. He is a
licensed real estate agent and has worked as a car salesman and
bartender. Richard spent 5 years in the Army, initially enlisting and then becoming a West Point Cadet. He is halfway through the
Masters' program in education and counseling at Providence
College in Rhode Island.

"Life is great" says Hatch "Let's talk about it!"

"There's a lot more to Rich than what you see week to week on the
show Survivor" said WPRO Operations Manager Ron St. Pierre,
"He's someone with strong beliefs and opinions. He'll present some compelling talk radio."

Richard will start his weeklong call-in show on Monday August 28th."

I disagree. Rich is an intelligent man. It's possible that he won the money and decided to QUIT HIS JOB and go back to school. When you get older, learning and schooling becomes "pleasurable". (as odd as this may seem to young folk like me).

I don't think it says anything -- one way or the other -- for Rich's chances of winning.

Wait a sec. The Army has been sponsoring Survivor. Could Rich's elistment in the Army be why the Army is sponsoring it? I feel that Rich may be the winner, because the Navy isn't sponsoring Survivor and Rudy was a Navy seal. The Army sponsoring the show would make ALOT of sense if Rich wins. I just hope I'm wrong on this, REALLY WRONG, because Rich doesn't deserve the $$$ after all of the backstabbing he's done on this show.

I dunno, does anyone else have trouble envisioning the "evil takes all" scenario? If Rich was the winner, I don't think they would have edited it to make him look like such a sleaze. Obviously, MB wants America to hate Rich, and would he do that if Rich was the winner? I dunno, it just doesnt fit. He knows people would be disappointed if the Rich he created won. I have also deduced through comments from Jenna, etc., that he isn't as bad as they made him out to be. Any comments?

...but you would think that the winner (especially if it were the contestant who signed with the William Morris Agency) would be doing the talk-show circuit the week after the show ends. Instead, this sounds like a way to keep Richard's name before the public while the winner (Kelly? or Rudy?) is doing the circuit.

the way i see it, everyone has a 1 in 4 chance of predicting the winner. Sigh....
