"AI 10 Audition Night #1 ECST"

Posted by Snidget on 01-19-11 at 08:40 PM
Keep all discussion of tonight's show on this thread until the twitching on the West Coast ends after the show.

Wow, who knew Fox cared so much for me that after I started a Tues night class they moved the show just for my ECST addiction?

So how will the new judges do? What will the return of Nigel bring? What will happen to the ratings on Paula's show on at the same time?

This and other things may or may not be revealed tonight, so let's get watching!!! or muting, whatever.

Fox has a "Welcome Home American Idol" recap show with former winners running right now, 7:30 to 8pm b4 the show and, Taylor is no longer persona non grata.

Lythegoe gets us, he really gets us. I'm taping it...got to go prepare for the big snow that's a comin'.

I did not know my liver could run screaming from the room like that.

Any idea how to coax it out from under the bed?

One more try this year. No Lost on against it

I am glad that they are trying to shake things up a bit. We shall see. I don't care about who judges, just get some interesting talent for once!

Yeah, I'm kind of curious how this season will fare. New judges, new format, and of course a new crop of talent.

But is AI same the same ol' thing?

We'll see.

Once during the self-indulgent-beyond-belief cell about the judge hunt

Again when the revised opening credit sequence hit, but that one was double-justified because people around me were going blind. Voluntarily.

And the third time was when Ryan 'I Just Let Them Feed The Words In Through My Back' claimed the show crown was the highest honor music could award.

Oh, and then the sequences of bad auditions, costumes, broken ribs, and Steven not quite knowing where he is hit.

If this thing kills me, I am taking people with me.

So Kosovo girl had big accent at the beginning then totally American near the end. "scuse me if I call foul. Not that her folks didn't escape wartorn countryland, but with a trampoline in the backyard I think they fared out pretty well.
