""Boston Public" Theme"

Has anyone seen the show on Fox, Boston Public? Not only do I think it is one of the BEST shows since Seinfeld, I LOOOOOVE the theme song.. I can't get it out of my head. It has a twenty first century type haunting melody at the mid point.. It moves me.. Don't laugh!.. LOL..I am a singer, and when this sh!t happens, I take notice...LOL.. But I can't find it on Napster or anywhere else.. I sure hope there is a full version out there somewhere, instead of just the little snippet they play at the beginning of the show... Question is.. How can I find it???

OH VAMPS!
Okay, I've never seen it, so I can't talk!
Oh maaan....that is such a "chick show"...but if
Vampster likes it, that's good enough for me.
Just for you, I'll listen to it's theme song sometime
if the chance arises.

P.S. The best show of all time is The Simpsons with it's
raging theme song by Danny Elfman formerly of
Oingo Boingo.

I think that Boston Public is one of the best shows
that has came down the pike in a long time.

I love the look that the long suffering Principal gets
on his face when more shlt hits the fan.

And the teacher (female, not the old bigot) who teaches
history who is on medication......sigh.....that voice....

I've seen her on several other things lately on BET.

Don't be trashing my man David E Kelley... the guy behind LA Law, Doogie Howser, Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, Ally McBeal, The Practice, and Boston Public.

Ya, once in a while he misses with a show like "Snoops", (which I didn't think was too bad personally) but come on, generally you can't beat him. His only problem is that he gets bored quick -- and tends to hand off a show to some assistants after a year or two and we have to watch it go downhill (see Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, Ally McBeal...)

And to top it off, he's also a former Boston lawyer (thus all the local Boston settings) and is married to Michelle Pfeiffer

and is married to
>Michelle Pfeiffer

That alone is enough to like him....

Yeah, Webby! Now that I know who is behind Boston Public,I know why it is one of my all time favorite shows..I adored Chicago Hope.. but really missed it after Mandy Patinkin left.. *sigh* And I thought Picket Fences was a breakthrough show.. I sure hope that BP can maintain the groove they've got going on now.. The Practice ia also an EXCELLENT show, the best "lawyer" show out there... wait.. I like Family Law too. Nice to see Tony Danza playing a different character for a change.

Well, since Boot Camp is starting soon and I really want to watch it this time, I'll keep this short.

Saw it once.
Thought it okay.
Can't remember the song.
Good luck in your search.

Peace!

Hrmph. What they don't mention in that song is WHERE those angels actually came from. It's that little valley below the Maroon Bells in Colorado. I'm sure you've seen the pictures, somewhere...

{sigh} Texas borrows angels from our Promised Land, and what do we get? A second-rate "oh yeah, I met him once" kinda recognition.

Never seen the show. That is bedtime reading time for my boys. But it is on the following site. I do not know about the complete version.

The theme music does appear to be there in both .wav and .rm formats. It's interesting. Sort of strangely Celtic, with some odd discordances that are surprising when they come up. I haven't decided if I really like it, but it's definitely different.

I wish the .wav that I listened to had been stereo, but I can imagine that the theme is possibly just mono, since it's for TV anyway.
