i know about the contender not getting many viewers compared to other shows, but i believe that the viewers that it does have are loyal viewers who are here for the long-haul.this is one of the best shows thyve shown on television for a long time how the hell can they not do another series!

well, I think the petition is up to 1000 signers, so that means we only need roughly 498,000 more to go!

It is the main reason that NBC is losing the ratings war. No one really watches NBC, they have the Apprentice and 15 spin offs of Law and Order, why would anyone tune in? The Contender was THE reason I watched NBC on Sunday Nights. What they needed to do was more promoting of the show. If it was such a bust, why the hell did Ceasars Palace sell out in 5 minutes and people pay thousands (YES THOUSANDS) of dollars on Ebay for tickets? NBC needs to listen to their audience, they give up too easy. They think they don't have to invest anything in their shows, they should be immediate hits. And who the hell are these Neilson people if Neilson is reporting 10 million viewers, then you can times that by ten, because NO ONE I know is a neilson family, if they even exist!

We need to bombard them with emails and petitions!

i agree so much lorizh,over here in the uk i saw it advertised once before the show started and then they put it on a crappy channel so how they expect to get viewers, to be honest theres some stupid people out there!
