ok... I am soo sure Nikko was 1 of the 2 (in my opnion) idol's who actually deserved to be in the competition!!! R u KIDDING ME!! Scott is a great guy & I feel sorry for him cause his dad made mean comments to him, but HELLO AMERICA did u not watch AI lnite?????? Nikko sang "Georgia" & i had chills -- Ray Charles would have been proud, but yet he got the boot!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAGGGHHHHHH!! I just can't believe it. I really feel that if anyone OTHER than Mario or Carrie wins this competition I will be flabbergasted -- & believe me that takes a lot, I am a "chatterboxx"!! Ok.. come on.. let me know who you feel on Wed. 03/09's vote!! Agravvated!!!

I agree that Nikko should have made the top 12.

But I do not believe that Mario or Carrie will be in the top 3 let alone be the next AI. What do I know though, I thought Clay should have won 2 years ago and Latoya should have won last year. So it will probably be a surprise to most of us as to who makes the final couple of finalists.

Wow , I had to reply to seahorse.... I agree TOTALLY about Clay should have won, and Latoya should have won. I'm still recovering that Latoya got the boot before Diana! I just couldnt believe it!!!!

Hey Chatterbox -

To play the Devil's Advocate, Nikko never did all that much for me. Yes, he has a great voice, but i think what he did the past three weeks was not much more than mimic the original artists who did the songs. I swear his rendition of "Lets Get It On", it sounded JUST LIKE Marvin Gaye. Granted, thats talent, but not what AI is looking for. Same for "Part Time Lover" and too some extent "Georgia..."

I honestly feel Nikko was lacking in originality, and that resulted in the boot.

Let's face it he was never going to win this contest, but his lack of builup in the auditions definitely hurt him. He did not have that huge fan base going in which is a huge plus.

Just wish to extend my appreciation to all my fans. Maybe I'm not an "Idol", but I do try to perform with dignity and respect for the original artist.

I think he was much stronger than Scott. Nikko should be in there IMO. I was extremely disappointed in the results of the show last night

Gee, I was just so happy to see this on the message board last night before AI had finished airing on the West Coast! Thanks so much for saving me the touble of watching the whole show.

Listen, I'm sorry for my sarcastic attitude, but next time please don't post the results in the title until everyone in the nation has had the opportunity to watch the show. I like a little bit of suspense and was really bummed out that I already had partial knowledge of the results. Please, please, please show some courtesy for people on the west coast. Thanks!

First off, i didn't make teh post w/ the spoiler in it.

secondly, i agree, it shouldn't have happened.

but ultimately, this is a public, community forum where, yes, there are rules, but things like this happen because there is no way to avoid them. I would say it is in your best interest to not browse the threads if you know a good chunk of the country has already watched the show.

ChaTTerBoxX I so agree with you. I'm so displeased about this whole competition so far. Nikko's talent outweighs many other of the male vocalist that are there. I'm very discouraged with AI this season. They need to change the way the vote is done. We need to be voting for the ones who should be leaving, NOT the other way. Can't they see that 2 very good men have had to leave this competition unjustly?? I'm ready to stop watching this show altogether. And as far as the ones making comments about originatlity,you might want to check back to see what all of these finalist have done. Very few have done anything "original" 3, maybe 4. It's very sad, and hopefully he had enough air time to be seen by someone in the business that will contact him. With a strong voice like that, the only way that man is going is UP!!!!
We will miss you Nikko ~~Sheri (yes, I'm an old lady, lol 40. but my 18 and 20 yr. old daughters loved you too!!)
