...What this big twist is that ESPN is hyping.

My mom has a co-worker who is knows Kerri personally. I know this sounds like a lot of those anonymous spoilers, but this one is legit IMO, from what I'm hearing.

Anyway, my mum was talking about BB&D with the co-worker, named Dina (I think). She said that this is the first season she's watched, because her cousin, who is Kerri's uncle, called her up and told her that "Kerri, and a bunch of kids with a camera crew" showed up at their house in St Louis, and needed a place to stay.

I know it sounds complex, but my point is that Kerri's team stays with her uncle in St Louis, who told his cousin (the co-worker) about her trip.

This means that Kerri mus not be done with the show yet. I'm almost positive this means she ends up on Team Cake for the rest of the season. And Eric with Team Exodus.

I'm going to try to dig up more dirt later.

Thanks for sharing. While I don't doubt that what you say is true...

I disagree with your conclusions for at least three reasons:

1) A team swap would give Team Cake three women, and Team Exodus three men. That would be a substantial (though not insurmountable) advantage for Team Exodus. I don't think they want to do that.

2) The BB&D Web site has been completely revised for this week, but they haven't removed the old members from the old teams. It might be meaningless, but I think there's a meaning behind it (see below).

Those sneaky S.O.B.'s have revised the site again - this time Kerri & Eric have red "eliminated" words next to them.

3) The reaction of the teams involved was too animated to simply be a swap of team members.

I think it's more than a simple swap. Maybe they swap teams AND add another famous name (broadcaster/athlete/ex-athlete). Maybe they just get the famous name who may not suffer like the other teammates. Maybe they put the teams back the way they were after a day apart. Or perhaps they form a third team with Kerri, Eric, and two others.

Please do. I'm sure everyone here would enjoy it.

First, TV Guide's listing for the 8/12 episode of BB&D:

The teams race to Chicago to attempt a task with Bears QB Chris Chandler. Team Exodus then challenges some Bucks in Milwaukee, while Team Cake seeks out St. Louis Rams coach Mike Martz.

Second, reading between the lines, in order to make everything fit, Kerri must lead her team to St. Louis, which means she must be on Team Cake. Which makes you absolutely right, and I'm sorry if I was a little harsh on you.

Third, I still don't believe that's all there is to the story. The relevant portion of today's TV Guide listing:

New team members arrive for each squad...

This hints that there will be more than one team member for each team.

My scenario: Kerri and Eric switch teams, and are joined by a male (for Team Cake) and female (for Team Exodus) celebrity of some kind.

Less likely scenarios: Each team gets two celebrity types; each team gets one or two from the alternate pool.

Anyway, we'll find out the rest of the story soon enough.
