I haven't had time to get all the vid caps from the preview that ran on EGG this morning, but here's what I was able to get.

Voiceover: This week on Shakesvivor! Tensions are already running high at the Arrogantaussie camp.

Voice Off-camera (Dalton?): Skierdude is an idiot.

Voice Off-camera (Sleeeve?): He actually says LOL whenever he says something stupid.

Voice Off-camera (Dalton?): Which is pretty much every time he opens his mouth.

Skierdude10: Hey, let's build our camp ON the river. LOL!

Voiceover: Meanwhile, in the Borneobore camp, which two tribemates have formed a Love Alliance?

Voiceover: And who's not happy about it?

VampKira: Where... is... SUPERMAN?!?!?!

Voiceover: This Thursday on Shakesvivor!

If anyone else was able to get anything, please post 'em.

The dumb thing is, SHE'S NOT EVEN IN THE GAME! Psychotic moron just wandered in here in search of a jump-start for her career! Vamps, we've called the chopper from Bellevue to come get her--and I must point out that you MUST control yourself, as you don't know WHAT kind of lingering side effects you'd suffer from sucking the life outta her.

And Supe was just being polite, I'm sure--it was pretty much a one-sided relationship, but he's too polite to rub it in; Miss Looney Tunes is fragile enough on her own.

That doesn't count as his reward visit, does it?

I hate to point this out, but the voiceover does say "two tribesmates". I don't think that is Lois Lane there!

There are three other women on your tribe - GT, ItzLisa, and Mon Cherie. GT and MC, at least, have dark hair - and Lisa's photo is a blonde, but I hear it's not "natural"...

GT jumped to your defense awfully quick, didn't she? I'm not trying to stir up intra-tribe turmoil here, really I'm not, but....it just seems a little fishy.

And doesn't Superman look a little guilty in the photo? What, or who, is he looking off-frame at, anyway?

Of course, I can't say too much, due to the death-threat clause in my contract, but I will tell you this: Shakes, as usual, has selectively edited words out of sleeeve's quote. With the high-tech equipment, it sounds nice and continuous, but believe me there was more being said. Sleeeve seems to be a particular target of this technique, so always "read between the words" on any of sleeeve's quotes.

I don't think that's Lois Lane at all. I think it's been altered! You can clearly see cat ears, as I've circled in red. If I were to take a guess, I would think this is Dangerkitty with Superman, & she's just trying to throw us off by posting here!

dr, I've been thinking about that essay for a couple of weeks (back from the Who's Still Awake? threads), trying to decide whether I should retell it. Guess I should've searched for it -- but I never thought a Niven essay, even one of his silly ones, would be available on the Web for free.... Thanks!

Oh, DK. . . your quick accusation was like a slap in the face--but thanks to kayak-girl's sleuthing, I see now how it all is! You have completely set aside all friendships for the duration, haven't you?! I had a feeling you knew no shame when you adopted the see-through union suit. . .

Sheesh. I don't know if I'm cutthroat enough for this game. . . I guess this is why the original show uses complete strangers (and they're not allowed to speak to each other 'til the game begins!)

Yes, Vamps--do not relax just yet. . . I think we need to organize shifts to watch the brush for this kind of shifty behavior! And you need to ration Supe's glue so he isn't so prone to fall for such ploys--and NO solo trips to the latrine!

I'm glad somebody else caught that. I was going to point it out, but I didn't want to unduly influence anyone. As fuzzy as it is, though, couldn't it be a dog ear? Is George Tirebiter really George Maneater? I think it's more likely to be DK, but it could be GT.

Edit: Holy baloney! Can't believe I overlooked the important line: "two tribemates." It can't be DK; she's an AA. It has to be GT... or maybe IceCat in drag?!

This is preposterous--IceCat's in more danger from me than Supe is! And Vamps' romance is well-known--and I DO have scruples!! (And I didn't hear anyone mention MonCherie, who IS brunette! I am definitely AUBURN!)

And since I can't ethically spoil the show per se, I will illustrate DK's history of superhero abuse:

First of all, we know that she's got a thing for the good guys:

And she has a grudge against vampires:

And furthermore, I hear she even threatens her own teammates!

I think the important thing to keep in mind is how many previews proved to be far from reality--just cuz you hear "tribemates" now doesn't mean that's how it's going to come off in the actual show! DK was so quick to jump in and point a finger, I have to go with my grandma's wisdom, and say, "Smeller's the feller!"

To me the woman in the pic with Supe looks to be Outfront Girl. Look at the picture:

Now look at a close up of Outfront Girl's ear:

The shape and the slope of the pointedness are just too similar. Outfront, you can put on that dark Lois Lane wig to try to disguise yourself, but I ain't buying it.
