I've played one of these before, but I don't know any other people I would rather play with than our fine peeps here.

I'm not creative enough to invent my own game, but I did set up one through Fun Office Pools which basically run the game for you.

Anyway here is the info and if you would like to join it is free to join the site and free to play the game.

* Type: American Idol Pool for the Top 24 Singers -- For the first 3 weeks put points (maximum 5) on who you think will be eliminated. Once we get to the top 12, you can put all your points on one person if you want. You get the points you bet if you are right.

It's bottom 4 (2 guys and 2 gals) until final 12 correct? otherwise there's no time, the finale will be 5/27

BTW I will be doing PTTE starting at F12 after we know them all more and the fodder is gone...look for the thread in March

AFAIK it is 2 per gender out per week for the first three weeks.

How do you make an overall pick? Is it for who you think will win?

Overall pick is who you think will win.

You can change that as the season goes on, but you get less points if you change it late in the season.

Thanks!! Sorry it took me so long to reply, I have been out of town with no reliable internet access!
This made me laugh because I'm pretty sure I ended up in last place, or close to it, on PTTE this year.
I had a great time and I will definitely be playing next year!!
