THE FOG comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

The Chicago Auditions, on the other hand, will probably be anything but silent, and probably have issues with the moving on thing as well. I think the promos have Shania Twain as the guest judge. As always on the ECST text only, no graphics, no sig pics as the threads load faster when they are long without 'em.

The haunches are silent? Do they have pants muffling the sound?

I thought the underwear with the filter was for smell, not sound?

What high object will Ryan stand atop of to taunt Estee with this week?

Blown away by the windy city and the blue air from the various cursing people.

Started things here in season one.

Bagpipes and Obama
Yes We Can!

Largest stop on the tour, 12,000 candidates.

Someone thinking this was the the line for America's Next Top Model.

Shania Twain the guest judge.

Shania should be interesting.

Let the record show that this was the first time a FOX channel and positive images/associations of/with the President were ever united.

Also note that fifteen million habitual FOX viewers just changed the channel, demanded investigations, and destroyed their contaminated televisions as a just-in-case. (Two hundred followed up with their own eyes.)

Mom talked her into it.
{cue sob story}
Parents are divorcing.

Simon plays therapist.
Syrup And Honey by Duffy

Shania. Interesting qualities to life.
Randy, don't sound like duffy something there.
Kara, see potential. Like to see more energenic.
Simon. Lights are dim
Shania voice could sing a hit song.

Ooooo, break in the pattern, first audition a yes.

The sanctity of marriage just took another hit. 'And if you get divorced, it'll make your child a star!'

*pops popcorn to go around*

Yeah, they fell for her. Pretty good voice, but can she take Hollywood?

How about the editing? Feeling any trust there?

"Amy Lang"
Posted by Snidget on 01-19-10 at 08:14 PM
I'm ready for her audition to be over.

She thinks having a dream about him means they have met.

She has stupid boob tricks.

She faints to start it off.

Doctor Feelgood.

Boobboxing.

Simon says no, was just having fun to make it stand out.

"RE: Amy Lang"

There has got to be a medication for that. Fainting, really???

I'm trying to decide whether I should be applauding, looking for a weapon, or mourning the setback of the cause by another forty years.

Probably all three at once.

Minus the applause.

The next one falls dead before the first note.

Then look what falls after that.

Salon in their house. She practices for the clients.

Summertime.

Randy. Wow, impressed. small voice interesting sound.
Shania, using your range, need to hone in on the better qualities.
Simon. Version was unique to you.

Nice voice and not pretentious at all. Sweet and all that, but not too sugary. A good top-24 candidate for sure.

Did you notice that when Kara's looking at a contestant and thinking about future product endorsements, she tends to drool slightly?

Voice seemed a bit thin, but she is young.

Sick daughter
Dad was killed
Traffic Violation, Court Date

Just Fine by Mary J.

Kara likes she listens to the advice.

4 yes.

Like her attitude, not to mention her voice. Opportunity knocks again.

"Insta-game!"

Guess what'll take Angela out of this year's Hollywood Week!

I say a plane falls on her house.

Now that is a back story, or two or three!

I did not know that when I started the game.

Sometimes the graveyard laughs back.

I hope Angela makes it to the Top 24 -- and if she does, I'd like a sigpic of her, please. I rooted for her in Season 7 when I found out she had a daughter with Rett's Syndrome -- I could identify because I have Asperger's Syndrome. Not severe, thank heavens, but both are Autistic Spectrum Disorders so that's something I can root for.

Maxwell A Woman's Work.

And Maxwell is spinning in his grave, and if he wasn't dead, he is now. That had to kill.

Simon can't stop cracking up.

Picks up where Curly left off.

They try to give her a lower note to start with and it doesn't change anything.

"Brian Kraus"
Posted by Snidget on 01-19-10 at 08:38 PM
Army guy, sang for the troops.

For some reason I think I'm going to assume it is a miracle he wasn't killed by friendly fire.

Singing Tiny Tim.

Swears it was not a joke.

Not good and weird.

The Rocky Intro fills me with dread.

Usher, Nice and Slow.

I should have run when I had the chance.

Kara, vocals no, Randy, no not up for this.

It's just the allergies.. and he goes into full probably fake sob mode.

Voice major.

His head isn't attached that tightly isn't it.

Shania says a beautiful bottom end. Nice lips. Nice tone down there. Pleasantly surprised. A good head.

Kara. agrees with Shania. Really good voice.

4 yes.

"Hey, Shania..."

Kara's just upset because someone stole her boytoy gimmick.

I've listened to enough Asian-language rock and pop to know that it's rare to hear notes that low. This guy seems to be genuine and into it, and don't be surprised he'll be able to work the Hollywood grind too. Another pick for a potential top-24.

Bad asthma, anaphalactic shock.

Sam Cooke Change is gonna come.

Simon a bit indulgent
Randy better toward the end.

Simon no, The girls say yes then start flirting with Randy to get the third yes.

Randy gives in and she's though to Hollywood

After watching last night I'd be okay with them getting rid of both Kara and Ellen and keeping Shania as the third judge. I liked her, as Randy would say, 100 billion times better, dawg.

"Great idea!"

I didn't see the whole show but she was pretty good and seemed to be enjoying herself, too.
