Early spoiler - that blonde from the Chicago auditions (remember the one whose dad had the naked 12 year old pics of kiddie porn?).....she's not funny.


Something I actually agree with Ant on. Thankfully, she should be gone soon so I don't have to agree with Ant anymore.

I found her a little funnier than you did -- I like dark humor -- but how funny she is probably won't be the factor that puts her on the ship. Remember Season #2? The judges (or whoever overrides the judges) are going to be casting for types and demographics as much as talent. If they decide they need a college-age blonde, all the rotten fruit in the world won't keep her out of the show.

Yeah. What the heck was up with that? I got home from teaching my class at about 8:40, turned on what I thought would be the end of a new episode and lo and behold, I didn't miss a thing!

Are they changing the time to 9 pm for new episodes or what?

Somehow I knew that Kathy Griffin would like the shockingly red haired woman with the weirdly airbrushed face and giant eyes (April Macie.)

I'm eagerly anticipating the results as much as I'm eagerly anticipating reality fear factor. Which is to say, not at all. Yeesh.

Well, they got 3 of the 5 right -- Josh was hilarious and I was happy to see he could fill 3 minutes and then during his Q&A he was funny. Joey Gay was funny during the round 1 tryouts & last night and I think that Chris Porter is hilarious. Thank goodness these 3 made it.

Roz actually disappointed me. I thought she was funny in her initial tryout, but last night I didn't like her screaming her jokes and I swear the whole prostitute/customer service joke has been done before. Maybe I'm wrong, but I swear I've heard very similar jokes.

April Macy just isn't that funny to me, but it was obvious since the beginning she was going through because of all the air time she was getting.

I don't know who of the rest I would put in Roz's or April's spots, but I'm guessing that next week there will be more than 5 really funny comics and someone who should make it to the house will not get the spot because of the way they did the selection. Why don't they just have all 40 compete and pick the 10, rather than split them up.

I'm also a little late - but sure enough - it was driving me nuts Roz. I loved her the first time but during the semi-finals - I was like - wtf - I've heard this whole thing before. Sure enough - my husband was like yeah - they guy we went to for valentines day - its on his CD. So I listened and even though this guy is not super famous - it was exactly the same jokes with a slight change. IE - he was looking for a job and was going to "fluff" his resume - but the rest was pretty much the same.

I hope to goodness she gets more original. I was like - wtf? are you kidding me - those 5 were not the best 5 - let the audience pick them all next time

little late here but I agree w/ the three guys being funny! I liked wild willie and am upset he didn't make it. Think that would have made an intersted house guest. You know they probably made this years judges sign a contract about agreeing with the final decisions, after last years fiasco! I can't stand April- she reminds me of a cheerleader or a modivational speaker not a comedian. But i'm sure the drama will be there! Roz is Roz she reminds me of so many other comdians and I didn't like her yelling either!

Just my two cents. I thought 5 guys should have made it in last night. Not to sound sexist, but I generally prefer male comics to females, even though I think Kathy Griffin and Ellen Degeneres are hilarious. I have no idea what the deal is with April Macy. I thought she was terrible! I would have went with Willy and Theo, but maybe they felt they needed some female representation on the show. Even if that was the case, I thought Jackie Kashian was the funniest of the women. I don’t really mind Roz making it cause I thought she was OK, I just thought others were better.

Watching the re-cap, it seemed any comic who made jokes about themselves being Jewish got in, which annoyed me. If I see one more impression of a Jew at a Rock Concert, Amusement Park, Airport, etc. I think I’ll be done with this show. It’s already old.

Just when I thought they would never find someone less funny than Jay Mohr, they did! Anthony Clark looked nervous, awkward, and like he had no idea what he was doing up there. Was that an act, or is he really this bad?

I did not get to see all of the comics so I can't really say whether all 5 were worthy or not but I was disappointed they picked the guy with CP (Josh?). Personally I did not find him funny. I really hate when a comedian's act is all about making fun of themselves - whether it be a handicap or their weight, or race, or religion. When the whole act is just about that one thing it gets either tiresome or uncomfortable. I know they have a limited time but everytime I saw him he made fun of himself having CP. It just makes you wonder if he didn't have it would he have anything to use? Maybe he'll prove me wrong as the season goes on.

Remember we saw a small clip and he was the audiences choice - he had to be pretty good. The judges didnt put him there
