...Toni tends bar at Circus in Chicago. Saw her there a couple Saturdays ago.

Almost hate to say it here but she was really nice. Her eyes stayed in her skull the whole time, too.

Of course, I wanted to just give her so much sh!t, but, well, when you come face-to-face with a real life media whore, it's just not as easy as you'd think. I mean, she's a real person! Who would of thought...?

Does she read this board? Did you tell her you recognized her? I'm sure she is nice, she wants you to think she's a big bad tough chick. God, how much mileage did they get out of her bugging eyes?!! We had to wait weeks before we saw what the hell she was wigging over. Is the Circus a strip club?

Don't think so.

Casually. One of those, "You look like Toni from Love Cruise," things.

No, it's not.

I just told her I recognized her, liked the show, she said, "thanks, it was a blast," and went back to work.

I realized I like to keep my media whores seperate from my real life. Up close and personal is just too up close and personal.

If you are ever down in the Gold Coast area you can check out Melissa tending bar at Whiskey on Rush Street on Monday and Thursday nights. She picked up the extra job (to go along with the hospital gig) b/c she stil hasn't gotten paid for winning the show.

Also, as for Circus, myself, Jeanette, Melissa and Bob roll into there on weekends occasionally so we might cross paths....also, I try and stop by and visit Mel at Whiskey on Thursday nights every couple of weeks or so.

And Jeanette will be picking up a bartending job in Chicago very soon....once she does I'll be sure to post the bar in case you anyone local wants to drop in and say hi.

As for me, I've been hanging out a lot at John Barleycorns on Clark Street in Wrigleyville....just moved into the area and am claiming that as my new local hangout....I try and make it there either Friday or Saturday night.

...all your friends work in BARS!

Try ordering the kiddie cocktail occasionally, or some other festive non-alcoholic fare..although I doubt your nose could get any redder, being that you are a clown and all...but enough of the boozing it up, OK...If I ever make it up to Chicago, mabye to watch the Cards spank the Cubs, I'll meet you for a drink! "Bartending... the media whore graveyard"

When the spotlight goes off, it really goes off... but hey, it's worked for former professional athletes for decades, why not for former reality TV media whores. One question though -- who's going to be the first media whore to take a job as a casino greeter?

As far as I know, none of the former reality TV media whores from my area (Dicque, Liz, Nick, Ethan, Linda... or even Debb or Jenna if you include New Hampshire) have taken up the profession yet. Jenna probably would have, but I think she's still milking some stuff in LA. ...and if Dicque starts bartending, it's probably not going to be at my kinda place (not that there's anything wrong with that! )

Looking at the above, I'm realizing that it seems like SURVIVOR is the only reality TV show that seems to cast any Boston-area folks (unless you count Drill Instructor McSweeney from Boot Camp, who I'm not counting.) Humm...

Anyways, good thing you have that lawyer thing to fall back on shakes... (btw, did you see Wanda from E! mention you in her column this week... your media profile isn't completely dead yet! )

Um...to be fair, The Real world DID cast some people from Boston before.

But DAMN, it seems like a prerequsite for whoring yourself on a reality show is that you MUST be a bartender at some point in your life.

I'm going to keep an eye out for all the Cruisers. After all, looks like it'll be kind of hard to miss you guys! You've got the town pretty well covered.
